I spent a week sorting through 25 years of paperwork, records, etc...must have lugged about a hundred pounds of ### to the office to shred with the industrial shredder. Oldest record from 1993. 

My wife doesn't understand, some of these things I'm supposed to keep forever. 

 

I came across some ancient aeronautical and nautical charts that I used in the Marines. Gonna donate some of them to Turtle's classroom. Her teacher loves old maps, license plates, car keys, anything to do with transportation...

Mrs. T-B. turns Many years old on Friday, gonna have to spend some money we man.

For 2 weeks*, she's been admiring herself in front of the mirror, vain she man.

 

*actually, for as long as we've known her, honestly man.

 

After thorough self-admiration, she says, "Don't I look young and pretty for being Many years old, huh man?"

To this, we have replied, "You're not Many years old yet, so you don't look young and pretty, no man."

Why is it that nowadays all I hear are excuses from people on why they refuse to work/function in society and they are always along the lines of depression/anxiety/PTSD/chronic ouchies?  I know there are legitimate people out there with some of those issues, but this is just getting out of hand. 🙄
