I changed the battery in the CRV a couple months ago. The stupid computer still didn't reset.

I've been driving it for a week.

Still can't pass inspection.

Pain in the azz...

I like living in a state that doesn't have inspections or emissions testing.

The check engine light in the truck has now been on for more than 5 years and maybe 70 or 80 thousand miles. 😂

Length of wanton pollution precised, :bonk: Nola-B. ma'am.

The above sounds like a prerequisite for passing inspection in Arkansas, si man.

And we thought that we faintly heard, wafting across the miles, Hillbilly yelling at Ontarklar, "And fer th' last cotton-pickin' time, I am NOT takin' the transmission OUT of the bathtub!"

I want a fun car.  Ive decided on a Mitsubishi evo.  Should've bought one before they stopped production.  Now the price will never go down!

If CA had decided I needed a smog check after failing to send me my registration renewal on time, sending it to my old address when I realized my stickers were out of date and renewed online, and charging me a late registration fee and a sticker replacement fee for the privilege, I would have been very upset. At least I'm no longer worried about randomly getting into trouble for this before I pick up the pretty Russian girl in LA on Monday.

Greetings from chilly Michigan.

Aw TBone that sucks about your missus's motor-hope it's not too expensive to get fixed.

Went to county clerk's office yesterday to apply for our marriage license, that's exciting!  Airline wants to charge over a hundred quid to cancel my return flight,  bloody gits!

Hope everyone is groovy x

Just don't get on the flight, that's what I did 😁

Congratulations!

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

So thats what you did with the ole Chitty Chitty Bang Bang....

Speaking of chitty chitty bang bang, after driving the thing for another drive cycle (pain in the azz), the computer finally reset. The OBD can get a reading now.

So, Monday, back to the station.

The problem with the drive cycle is....this is NYC! where do I have the open highway to accelerate to 55, hold it for 3 minutes, coast to 20, then accelerate to 55 again, and hold it for 5 minutes??  It's impossible here!

Yeah SAT there wasn't much else to be done with her, she'd done so well, she was 20 years old....I bought her 4 years ago for £350 & for the most part she was a wee workhorse giving me trouble-free fun motoring during that time.  I will miss seeing the smiles she often put on folks faces some dreary mornings as we drove along. My weird neighbour across the way (back in Scotland) had said she wanted to buy Hildegarde before I left but I just couldn't bear the thought of it, not to mention a few months back her speedo stopped working & she had leaks in her cooling system which the mechanic had 'fixed up' with good old radweld so it wouldn't have been right to pass her along to someone. The scrappy gave me £120 for her which considering they came out, picked her up & took care of all the paperwork isn't a bad deal at all.

North dear friend. Drive the Taconic during an off time/day.

I've been remembering lately, given my current line of work, how often the medical helicopter used to come into the hospital with patients from Taconic crashes.
