My boss claims he's 6'5" but he looks 6'6" to most of us. I think the rounding up/down depends on how tall you are in the first place. I used to give my brother a hard time when he would list his height as 5'11 3/4 inches, as he's the exact same height as I am and I'm 5'11" on the nose. In the good news department, my annual physical keeps confirming that I'm 5'11. At least I haven't started shrinking yet at 58 yrs of age. Haven't been so lucky on some of the other aspects of aging, though.

I'm pretty sure he's 6'7", but he won't admit to it.  He's sick enough of the basketball comments as it is.

I'm scared to find out if I've shrunk. I think I probably have since my feet have.

Aging is one of those categories in which I wish that I weren't northern European. It starts to hit you hard in your 30s. The Dane is almost completely gray (but has kept his hairline). When I look in the mirror, I think, gosh I look old

Hubs has shrunk since he was 20. Used to be 6'2 and now hes 6' even.  We figure its from lifting heavy weights.

But he's jacked, though, right?  Because that makes up for the shrinkage.  Pun not intended.

Pretty much.  He used to weigh 170lbs soaking wet.  Now hes 205.  Prolly could cut down to 190 qnd be shredded.  He no longer looks "scrawny"

Could also have been from years of running from the AF.  Or they just never measured him correctly.   Which is possible too.  He stands quite upright so certainly looks taller than 6ft.
