This here wind storm is lasting a long time all right

We had pretty stiff winds a couple of days ago, really sounded like it was roaring around the eaves.  Pretty nice day yesterday, warm enough, but the wind is back today. And it's cold.  Over it.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I have 3 ppl from FB chicken groups that will be hatching ducklings and I order 4 from each. 🦆

3 different breeds

Now I know TSC will have some soon too and well they sell 6 at a time so well I need to get busy building my duck house.

I'm familiar with a hen house, but what do ducks need?  Is it a lot different?

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Himself had a restless night. Dog wanted outside every two hours all night.  I feel like I haven't been to bed at all. I would gladly have a nap today if only I didn't always wake up feeling worse.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Older parents are frustrating.

Every time my mother talks to one of her friends, she gets this attitude with me - that I am taking advantage of her or should be providing for her. She got off the phone with this one and told me that I should buy her a car and it is all my fault that she spends so much money visiting.  😂

Nobody is forcing your hand here, lady. YOU wanted to spend more time with your grandkids.  Moving to the cold frozen tundra was not an exercise on our behalf of causing you financial woes.

Not too much difference. Most ducks don't roost and rarely sleep inside. I need to make their house and run secure as possible so they can go in if they want or stay outside and not get eaten. I will also have a pool in the secure area for them.
