On a towel, the "dobby" is the unusable design part near one or both ends, vocabulary man.

We have never understood why towels are more expensive when their dobbies are bigger, no man.

All that those things do is consume otherwise-usable surface area of the towel, :bonk: man.

 

On the bright side, next week's bath towel is our plush Nautica, bought at a previous ES for $1, whee man.

And without dobbies, no man.

3 different breeds

Now I know TSC will have some soon too and well they sell 6 at a time so well I need to get busy building my duck house.

I haven't eaten duck in forever. Mmmmm duck. I used to get it every couple of weeks.

 

Rant:  The benefits cliff.

 

State health insurance for adults in my state goes up to 200% FPL, kids is 300%FPL.

 

I can't figure out whether we are going to be over 200% FPL this year or not. We can't get a subsidized exchange plan unless we are over that amount.

 

I'm not in a rush to get a plan on the exchange. Yes, it is $250 more per month, but we also have $0 deductible right now versus $7000 or whatever that would be.

 

They've been talking forever about upping the buy-in income limits, but I kind of need it now.

We had a Sunday with good & bad, ouch man.

 

Good news, si man:  We slept for Many (2x2x2+2) hours, and our nose is nearly Many% well, si man.

Good news, si man:  We had the minimum Many (2+1) laundry loads, with creative arranging man.

Good news, si man:  Had Chamber of Commerce weather today, Texas weather Many man.

Good news, si man:  We did not leave the casa, perfect Sunday man.

Good news, si man:  We saved cat from fight with scruffy invading neighbor, invasive scruffy miu man.

 

News, see man:  We mowed entire lawn, perfection front & back man.

News, see man:  While sweaty, we handled all casa wastebaskets, big job man.

News, see man:  Did other casa-hold chores requiring standing/bending/carrying, industrious we man.

Bad news, ow man:  Our failure to rest after mowing hosed our back, nearly worst ever man.

 

Bad news, ow man:  First laundry load didn't drain/spin, off-balance man.

Bad news, ow man:  We had to pull soaked wife-duds from machine & redistribute, wet & ouch man.

Bad news, ow man:  This set us back on our daily schedule, bummer man.

 

Good news, si man:  Mrs. T-B. actually made something for din-din, amazing man.

Bad news, ow man:  She stank up the laundry that we were folding, grrrRRRR man.

Bad news, ow man:  She used up some of our lunch-prep materials, :bonk: she man.

 

Bad news, ow man:  Attempted nap-with-cat an utter failure, too much pain man.

We got stuck in the unplowed roads while we were out working. Just going outside in the cold with the wind for a couple of minutes and it felt like you couldn't breathe.  

 

We've gotten a lot of snow this year, they are predicting flooding on the areas along the bigger rivers.

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
