Another reason I hate the schools here. Luckily I will never have to deal with them again. Sadly it took 7 kids attacking the Tornado and a death threat before the Hillbilly could see how bad they are.

Thanks, it was pretty bad when even the police wouldn't do anything but take a report. 

 

Tomorrow is our homeschool library hour. The kids get excited for it. The group has grown quiet large from the beginning of the year. They want to do another day with a STEM class. I hope they can the kids would love it. 

 

I have a rough idea on what my duck coop will be like. I'll put a sink or shower drain on the bottom of the pool to drain and clean easier. 

It will be something like this. I will make this part predator proof and then have a playground with extra space for them too. If hardware cloth wasn't so expensive I would do the whole area predator proof.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

At Many (2x2x2+2+1) p.m. this eve, the dialogue was as follows, see man:

 

Mrs. T-B.:  Mini-B. has to bring a bag of Valentine candy to skool tomorrow.

We:  What did you get him, huh man?

Mrs. T-B.:  You need to go out tonight and get him something.

We:  You had the whole day off; why didn't you, huh man?

Mrs. T-B.:  I was beezee!

We [sigh, man]:  How many in his class, huh man?

Mrs. T-B.:  Many (2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2+1).

We:  The bags will probably all have Many (2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2) items in them, sigh man.

 

We went out to the supermarket to find bags of stuff with either Many (2x2x2x2 + 2+2+1) or Many (2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2) pieces, or the correct number but with peanut ingredients, forbidden at skool man.  We purchased a bag with the Many (2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2) in it, rip-off man. :bonk: 

 

We concomitantly seized the opportunity to gas/warsh the thirsty/filthy Mrs.-T-B.-mobile, at least that was a boon man.

I'm not very great at keeping up with things at the best of times, this is & has been a bit of a hectic time so I apologise for dancing in, dropping my post & waltzing away as I do. That's my way of saying I've not really read through & I'm sorry, but I do hope you are all doing well right now xx

Fiancé has something which can be treated & is survivable, apparently the treatment isn't even gonna be that bad, this is very good news indeed! Very relieved! One more hoop to leap through tomorrow & hopefully I'll be there with him very soon.

And her interview too. Presumably saw PRG and knew right away someone that cute had to be allowed to come to America, man. 😊

Gave her many well-wishings and expressions of affection. Then watched Incredibles 2 and read for a bit. Saw something in a group for guys with Russian fiancées that someone's case was approved today, and half an hour later heard the same from PRG. So she's on her way back home now. Plans on working tomorrow (and turning in her notice, man) despite spending half the night on a train.

Honestly, I'm not sure that he realized it was dirty, which is a whole 'nother issue.
