This weather is crazy, it reached 81° here yesterday and today it's 45°!

In the ongoing MRI saga all vendors have declined to use common sense and accept the documents from Cochlear that tell them all I have to do is remove the sound processor, the doctor gave up and decided I would have a myelogram except oops no I can't I'm allergic to the contrast...

One day maybe they'll find out what damage I did to my back, in the meantime workers comp is paying a small fortune in trying to get someone, somewhere to actually do something *sigh*

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Crazy everywhere, isn't it!  72 to 16 here. The sun is out, but its just light at this stage.

Why are they making this so blessed difficult?!?

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Urgh trudi I shall keep my fingers crossed that one of the medical peeps gets their idiocy bypass operation scheduled soon!

Awaiting test results still, hoping to have em on Wednesday-it's taking a little longer because the docs are flummoxed & want input from the university doctors. Please dear God let my lovely man be ok. He went in for a procedure yesterday which was successful & is back in with the doctors today to discuss some other bits n pieces going on with him. Hoping to catch up with him later & get whatever news there is thus far.

If you can ever get 'em plucked (= an uncertain prospect), they'll make mighty fine eatin', ingest D ma'am.

For din-din, Mrs. T-B. served a supermarket chicken, ingest we man.

Oh the silkies have forever protected status. But they are considered an exotic food because of this. I won't send them off to freezer camp because they are my mommies. When I send the big ones off to freezer camp my silkies raise the next batch for me. Then I don't have to keep the chicks in the house and raise them myself. That is fun but stinky.

Scintillating repartee these last Many hours, yawn man.

-------

Rant, grrr man:

We arrive at the casa after another record-setting sales week at the POTS office, provider we man.

Mrs. T-B., who had almost the whole day off, had made nothing for din-din, no man.

Mini-B.'s ADHD little amigo was over, visit wee man.

Mini-B. kept asking for something to eat but was rebuffed, rebuff wee man she man.

We asked Mrs. T-B. what was for din-din, ask we of she man.

"I called for Burger King delivery," she said, said she man.

"When is it going to be here, huh man?" asked we of she man.

"Probably sometime soon," said she to we man, blank/scared ADD look she man.

"Did you use coupons?" asked we of she man.

"Yes..." said she to we man, blanker/scareder ADD look she man.

"So you didn't use any of the Many,000 BK coupons in plain view," said we disgustedly to she man.

[No response from she man]

"And you know that it's going to arrive ice-cold, huh man?" said we to she man.

[No response from she man]

"Why didn't you call us to bring it on our way home, huh man?" asked we of she man.

"I didn't think about that," murmured she weakly to we man.

We & Mini-B. took turns looking out window and querying Mrs. T-B. on the whereabouts, starving we/wee man.

Mrs. T-B. finally told us that it would be here when it got here, brilliant and :bonk: man.

It finally showed up, Many (2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2+2) -- yes, Many (2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2+2) -- minutes later, :bonk: man.

The completely ravenous indigenous and visiting menfolk ripped into it, lions into wildebeests man.

And it, including of course the French fries, was all ice-cold, :bonk: man.

And we are going to want something else for lunch tomorrow, BK coupons go to waste man.

How could anyone be so blinking bone-headed to pay full price for something late & inedible, huh man?

I've done that. Fractured my coccyx. Hurt like the billy blue blazes for ages. I don't like it either :)

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I wore my cleanest sneakers, Danskos. That was a mistake as they are basically smooth on the bottom. I couldn’t even sweep because I kept slipping all over the place.

Now I am off to grocery shop with the Canadians.
