I think my luck has run out this year.  Once I get things put in order, and the meds passed out, I am retreating to bed with my book. I won't be able to actually stay there all day, his medication alarms are spaced about every two hours, but I'd rather have to get up than sit here and wait.

 

3/5 of us got the flu shot and I thought it was super effective this year, but apparently not.

 

Do you have to get up every two hours at night too?

If it helps at all, I'm for it, even with hallucinations. The pain is intense from the body aches. It was making the Dane cry.

I was just reading that there's about 700 million chinamen stuck in gridlock traffic right now trying to go back to their home villages for the New Year. 

 

Serves them right, fooks are selfish barbaric drivers/ people, with no sense of courtesy, no understanding of "right of way". 

 

But NYC is getting to resemble finds as they crawl in like cockroaches...

No, unless his BP starts playing up and he wakes me.  The major anti-rejection ones are twelve hours apart, so we settled on 0900 and 2100.  If he wakes me it can take an hour or so while we wait to see if his pressure will settle on its own. If I have to intervene it can mean being up for the day.  That usually only happens once a week or so. It's been years since I had a single undisturbed night. I think over thirty years working rotating shifts left me with sleep issues as it is, so this really puts the tin hat on it.  I am tired, always.

haven‘t had a flu in many many many years  and just don‘t think it‘s necessary ( especially because I usually have a mild cold once or twice a year and that‘s it) 

This year, I had to go the the shot because my brother in law‘s wife kinda forced us to get one because of their kids...

long story short, I got the shot one month ago and have been sick Many times since then..but no..not only a little cold...big time fever and any flu syptoms you can find in the books 😷

We were barely able to attend the only two itineraried ESs, around-rushing we man.

The first yielded nothing, albeit good prices man.  Second was worth visiting, see man.

 

The take, see man:

 -- new bottle rubbing-alcohol; full bottle Pantene shampoo/conditioner = $1, steal man

A busy Saturday, see man:

 

Took Mini-B. to Home Despot for kids' activity, we & wee man.

Constructed a wooden candy-box, painted & stickered by wee man.

Took box straight to Mama T-B. for weekly caucus with Mini-B., senior she & wee man.

 

The following were achieved in just under 2 hours in beastly traffic, nearly unparalleled feat man:

Lingered lengthily at supermarket clearance bin, many dented cans found man.

Deposited POTS checks at bank, red-carpet treatment man.

Attended first ES, zero man.

Dropped stuff at dry-cleaner, favorite lady man.

Retrieved second watch from repair place, something still amiss with it man.

Attended second ES, steals man.

Lunched at Wendy's with use of coupon, ingest we man.

Returned to Mama T-B.'s casa, just made it man.

 

Took Mini-B. to "surprise" movie, bachelor afternoon out man.

Mini-B. had already seen the Spider-Man movie, no one told us ADD she man.  

Mini-B. acquiesced nevertheless, popcorn/Icee/previews beckoned man.

After movie, Mini-B. glad to have gone, unexcited-yet-frank wee man.

 

Began Laundry Load #1, efficient we man.

Took dead-to-world nap-with-cat, zzz we & miu man.

LLs #1/#2 long-ago done, efficient we man.

Must de-dish the warsher, only lingering project man.

Then cat prep / Heap-Strong Medicine / zzz man.
