It's NZ. No central heating either. They fancy themselves sub-tropical. Well sub I'd say. No insulation in homes built before roughly fifteen years ago, no double glazing, no heating or cooling.  They rely on open fires, space heaters, oil column heaters, and fans. It's madness.
