Last polar bear I saw was in the Winnipeg zoo.  I thought when we moved here it would be so easy to go to Churchill or somewhere similar.  One of the things I think I, as an American, didn't realize was just how "tall" Canada is and how remote so much of it is. 

Yes.  Steadier hours, less stress, higher pay.   Less stress becuase of a smaller clinic.  Instead of 1-7 euthanasia a DAY, maybe per month.  I love how they search people by name instead of phone number.  Theres not 50000 clients...

Soon enough the Jedi will be turning 5. He's do for shots. I'm being paranoid now and don't want to get them. Since the GBS I don't trust he won't get it again. I know for certain he cannot have the flu shot or live vaccines but still it scares me to death going through that again.

Did not leave the casa, perfect Sunday man.

 

Outside = Many degrees (2x2x2x2x2x2 + 2+2) F. and mostly sunny, Texas weather Many man.

We therefore finally mowed the lawn, front & back man.

Evened up grass, nuked weeds, mulched OPOLs, Other People's Oak Leaves grrr man.

 

Garbed ourself in standard summertime mow-lawning attire, attired we man.

Two sweatbands used, one heavy one medium man.

Lady on bicycle beheld end result and complimented us heartily, good eyes & taste she man.

Ive read that people who've gotten GBS can't have vaccinations again ever?    I completely understand that you're worried and your son is the reason why we need herd immunity.  :(  I would also be scared, I have no advice for you here but wanted to sympathize.

I remember him going through that, and I would be nervous too. Have you talked to the pediatrician about your fears?

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
