For din-din, Mrs. T-B. started a near-kitchen fire, ADD she man.

She got engrossed in business stuff and forgot about the kitchen, ADD she man.

Entire casa still smells like whatever gross stuff (probably with cilantro in it) got vulcanized, yuck man.

Oh, and Mrs. T-B. actually took our watches for repair the other day, mirabile dictu man!

This was to have been our anniversary present, Hallowe'en man.

We had told her of this in August, get her mentally/logistically prepared man.

At this rate, it can be our V.D. present*, Happy Valentine's Day to us man.

The low is going to be -35 F without wind next week. That might be the coldest temperature I’ve ever experienced.

My outdoor thermometer says it is - 21 C at the moment. 

 

I don’t know if I shared this at some point. But at the age of 20 I was gearing up to go to med school in Russia and even had a Russian tutor. Then, I ended up getting pregnant with my daughter, so that didn’t happen. Perhaps that was a good thing. I don’t mind the cold, but Russians are so hardcore!  I don’t think I would have lasted living there.
