Late in evening is part of the mandatory routine, treat miu man.

 

At PetSmart today (see below man), we found a bag of freeze-dried meat treats, apparently acceptable man.

They cost Many cents per treat, outrageous man.

We fed Cat T-B. Many (2+1) of them, satisfied miu man.

We might drop this to 2 daily, beastly expensive man.

  -- Halo chicken stew and salmon recipe, probably disgusting man;

  -- Simply Nourish SOURCE venison, trout, & duck flavors, definitely disgusting man.

These are probably not optimal but are certainly better for her than the Sheba Perfect Portions, grain-ridden man.

She absolutely loved the duck and wolfed nearly the whole can in one session, how can they stand it man.

Miu still pooping a bit more than regularly, but it's not as liquid or pungent, perceive improvement we man.

 

Per vet's advice, we thoroughly scraped the cr@p (literally & figuratively) out of miu's box, sweat we man.

(We broke a barbecue-scraper in the process, glued like barnacles man.)

We also completely replaced the litter, replace we man.

The above actions were precautionary in case any segmented-tapeworm remains remained, say vet man.

Poor suffering miu man.

As reported, we were in south Texas/Mexico on Tues./Wed., previously report we man.

Mexico border town very busy with gringos, especially for weekdays man.

However, took a record hour + half-hour + Many (2x2x2-1) minutes to drive out, unprecedented man.

Noted illegals waiting on bridge, going to post separate thread about this in Current Events forum we man.

 

Went back in (on foot) on Wed. morning, Many (2x2x2) a.m. man.

Not every store, dentist, or pharmacy open yet, slowly progressed for an hour man.

Got to chat with CBP agent at POE, fascinating and see separate thread noted above man.

 

At return airport, nearly asked for a wheelchair, back/leg issues man.

When we had a cats, we always used liter box liners and newspaper pellets and just threw the whole thing out every few days.  I can't imagine that was very environmentally friendly.

Oh -- we forgot to mention that we collected all remaining now-prohibited food and returned it to PetSmart, store credit man.

 

There were Many (2+2+2+1) full cases of Sheba Perfect Portions, stock up man.

There were 2 bags of Purina Indoor, healthy man.

There was a bag each of Purina One and Meow Mix, yes sir yes sir one bag full man.

Very sad to give up miu's diet, but must do so man.

 

We bought the aforementioned new glop, a new box-scoop, and 2 large jugs of litter, buy we man.

We still have $Many ($2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2 + 2+2+1) in store credit, heavenly man.

And we forgot to return the half-used case of Sheba, maybe donate it to neighbor's miu man.

I prolly would have bought new boxes.  Our kitties use rubbermaid bins (but target brand...)  There's a little bump on the bottom but the box is bigger and deeper so we don't get litter flung about.

It's not a bad thing to leave it out all day, but just portion control it.  For instance the kitties get 1/4 cup each morning and night.  They don't normally eat everything in one sitting and will go back 2-3 times during the day or night.  They do not get wet food.  If they do get wet food, depending on the size, they may or may not get dry food. https://www.petmd.com/cat/nutrition/how-calculate-how-much-wet-food-feed-cat

  Since they're a little chubs to be honest, they prolly should cut down to just under 1/4 cup each feeding.  But the one cat will eat until he vomits if he hasn't eaten all night.  He's got issues....

Most vets use a 1-9 scale.  My cats are probably currently a 6-7 on that one.    OKAY DIET TIME KITTIES!!!!
