Skies are getting darner here. My phone has flood and thunder storm watch going on. I haven't looked at it in a bit so not sure if the tornado watch is in our area. I need to get the garbage and recycle to the road early so I can avoid the down pour later.

 

We don't pay much attention to the tornado sirens here. The stupid ppl are setting them off too much when there is no tornado in site. Some dummy likes to run them for nothing.

Some places use them as a warning for anything. They did that where we used to live north of LR. I set them off a few times myself when I worked for the local Sherriff. People get so desensitized to them no one pays any attention after a while.

You're better off with a weather radio or app, least you know that something is actually in your area that way.

Toyota is the only game in town with an AWD minivan now.

 

Not that I would have considered a Chrysler...

Yes they are only supposed to set them off for tornado not for just guesses

It's just me or the kids I don't need to do much for them. The Hillbilly is in Dallas.

I'm gonna strap one of those cargo thingys to the roof and make like Chevy Chase on vacation

Lol I think that is the only time I would like a van. Would make trips so much easier.

I hate minivans. But I need one now. Especially more and more we have tagalongs. 

 

I can use the Yukon to haul 8, but a minivan is easier to get in and out of. 

I'd trade in the Yukon, but I need the towing capacity, and it's great for fishing and hunting. But it's aging...

 

I love the crv for it's incredible versatile urban use and it's legendary reliability. 

 

I love the luxurious comfort and performance of the Lexus sedan. If I replace the Lexus, I won't need an AWD van, since I'm replacing a FWD car.

The Lexus is also the easiest to replace because it's a lease. 

 

So, I don't know which car to replace lol.

Tough choices. 

 

I guess we have 4 weather alerts. Tornado, sever thunderstorms, flood watch and flash flood watch.

 

I should have waited to fill the pool. The rain coming down right now would have it full in no time. Now it's just over flowing. My backyard at the chicken coop is flooded. The tiny babies are not happy at all. The bigger chickens are not afraid of the weather.  it's a good thing I added two loads of river rock inside their run or they would be flooded. It's built up pretty good and covered so their safe run is plenty dry.

 

The ducks I shoved up top in their night house and pool area so I won't have to go back out there to them later. THe bottom half is not predator proof so I can't leave them down at night. They are not minding the rain and swimming like always.

Did I tell you the lady that bought 7 of my male ducks runs a sanctuary. She has all sorts of animals for disabled kids to come like a petting zoo. Older daughter was very happy as one of her favourites turned out to be a boy and she didn't want it to be eaten.

Now, I'm on vacation. The big guy calls me yesterday, "I'm gonna retire".

I'm like, what the....you own the company! 

He's like, but you're a partner, you run it. 

I'm like, no way man...

This is the crossroad.

It's a major dilemma that's going to require much thought. 

I was afraid this day was gonna come. 

I've seen him maybe 3-4 times last couple of months? 

This guy checked out months ago. From his own hotel!!
