The people at my bank are not very educated. Different bank branch, third check that I've deposited that is drawn on a Scottish bank, with a branch in England...

3rd time they can't figure out that Scotland doesn't have its own currency. They do the same thing every time - deposit the sum in USD, reverse the deposit (this time with a note about Scottish pounds 😂), and then send it out to whatever clearing house they use.

That sounds like the AUD to USD conversion process our first CPA used .. incurred a $4000 IRS bill and totally denied liability for doing it incorrectly !  

In  agreement about the wedding .. drive til you find one happening , attend and see how long it takes for it to be noted that you are neither friends of the bride or groom. Always wanted to try that .. but the adventurer  in me isn’t that brave !🤪

The Littlest Dane is grumpy that he isn't getting free range of the house lately. He keeps climbing on the dining room table, just like the Troll used to do. It is pretty high up and above wood floors, so it really isn't ok.

An update on dad: surgery went well, and they were able to remove everything and stop the bleeding. Even better they did it in the least invasive way possible. Now comes the weeks of recovery, OT, evaluations, and medications. He wants to get out of the ICU so badly, but it's at least going to be another week. The dog is going bananas without his 'couch buddy', gets into moods where he won't get out of his basket or even eat.

 

Husband was given a shirt to wear for graduation day for all employees. Too big and no logos on the front makes him look like he's wearing a giant blueberry-colored undershirt. Tried to shrink it in the wash.. still looks stupid. Lame cuts to budget and poor design decision.

That is great news about the surgery!!

 

Have you tried altering it?  I've started doing that with most of my clothes that I don't make.
