On the plus side we sold our Acura today.  Still need to sell the Jeep and Mustang.

I can’t even quote because of the ad and it is the only thread on VJ that won’t open on my computer. It does open on my phone, but no quoting possible. 

 

Anyway, all I have left is one tiny take home final and then I am done.

We spent mucho time on phone with clinic, detective we man.

In short, Injection Quack Doc will see us on Tues. morn, see quack we man.

 

We will find out exactly what kind of injection procedure he performed, learn we man.

Then we will ask what might explain why/how everything got immediately hosed for a week without ever returning to baseline, explain he man.

 

Later in day, fizzicle therapist will mobilize us, flexibility we man.

Stormy day around here. We are getting a bit of a lull in festivities at the moment. The dog has been given a calmer downer, is wearing her Thundershirt, and still she has paced and panted all afternoon. She is getting a nap in at the moment.

I hope we don't end of having to go out in this tonight. I've got everything in the shelter we might need, but I really hate storms after dark. If doom is headed in my direction, I'd just as soon be able to see it coming.

Tornado alley is VERY active here today going into night. So far no damage at the casa since they've all gone around us. Keeping all digits crossed.

I’m not looking forward to tornado season, such a pain!

 

we just had snow yesterday, which thankfully didn’t stick. Switched out the snow tires today.

Sweet. Ex-husband got my '91 GT supercharged convertible in the divorce. It was red with white leather interior and top. 5 speed stick and flowmaster pipes. I loved that car.

Had appointment with Quack Injection Doc (QID) today, grrr man.

Sped like an illegitimate male child to arrive right on time, driven we man.

Didn't get called in for half an hour, a bit early for them to be so far behind man.

Was interviewed by Medical Assistant, take basic details she man.

Was later interviewed by Physician's Assistant, take more basic details she man.

After another half-of-half an hour, QID & PA come in, he & she man.

 

QID barely lets us say a word, prattle he man.

(PA is serving as secretary for Electronic Health Records, type she man.)

QID said, "Never in Many,000 procedures that I have performed has this happened, no man."

"The next step is an MRI with contrast, only solution man."

We asked, "Is it possible that we reacted to the steroid or amount of it, huh man?"

QID said, "That is not an issue.  We need a new MRI, with contrast, see man."

We asked, "What will another MRI so soon tell us that the old one can't, huh man?"

QID said, "There may be incidental findings, like a synovial cyst, for example man."

We asked, "Will it answer why the injection procedure failed, huh man?"

QID said, "It did not fail!  There has never been a reaction like this, no man."

We (getting urinated) asked, "Do you plan to treat the MRI, or treat the patient, huh man?"

QID said, "The next step is an MRI with contrast, only solution man."

We (silently):  "The next step is an arrogance-ectomy for you, you butthole man."

 

So we paid $Many for no answers, no clinical exam, and a bunch of preaching, grrrrRRRRRR man.

 

Later, our fizzicle therapist came over, mobilized us, helped us feel better about wasted experience above, and didn't charge us for the visit, redeem our faith she man.

It should be mentioned that our fizzicle therapist is a rubia, si man.

She was leaving from the front door as Mrs. T-B. was driving in, see mutual shes man.

We told Mrs. T-B., "You caught us rushing one of the rubias out of the casa before your return, caught we man," si man.
