Still trying to figure out whether having my motorcycle in a repair shop named "OCD Cycle" is a good thing or a bad thing. So far they've been less OCD about the repairs and more OCD about billing me. I took it in about a month ago and they opened the carbs to inspect, found them to be clean and then advised the replacement of the fuel pump. It took so long to receive a fuel pump that I finally canceled the order and replaced the fuel pump myself. However, I found the bike backfiring like crazy, i.e. they did a really p00py job adjusting the carbs when they put it back together. So today (or at least by tomorrow, hopefully) they will properly adjust the carbs at no cost. During the fuel pump debacle they kept on claiming that they would warrant the repairs on the fuel pump for 12 months to get me to wait another 3 weeks for the part. So I brought it up today that the repairs on my carbs must have a 12 month repair warranty too. The mechanic was quick to say, "Oh sure, sure, sure, but we might discover other problems that emerge not covered by the warranty."

 

Yeah right. Just fix your mistake already. I'm already $400+ into this and they haven't done a dam thing to improve the performance of the bike.

Just got a call. They adjusted the carbs and replaced the plugs for a grand total of $6. I can live with that. I just hope it's running okay. The next two weeks will tell all. God knows my own psychological health will improve if I can return to riding it every day.

However, the radiculopathy in the left leg now encompasses the entire leg, didn't before man.

It is also no longer relieved by sitting, no man.

Pending expert advice, we consider this procedure not only a failure, but detrimental, sigh man.

I'm still working on the duck's run. I can't make it as big as I want until I get the OK from animal control. Looks like that won't be until Jan when they come out again to inspect things. 

I can't tell from the law if I need to count the neighours screen in patio to meet the 75' rule. If I don't have to count it is gives me about 15 more feet.

But how the advice has changed since I first joined VJ. Back then if you came on a K1 or you automatically got the 2 yr card, even if the person was married for more than 2 yrs. I don't know why but it was repeated over and over back then. Maybe something changed since then?

Fizzicle therapist (married to retired orthopedic surgeon) said the following, read man:

     "How are you feeling this morning compared to yesterday?  A lot of fluid in a small irritated area can make you feel worse. Steroid can be irritating at first.  [Husband] said sounds like doc got it in the right area since left leg was affected by the injection.  Give it a few days.  It can take 7 days for max. response (decreasing nerve inflammation).  Lets see how each day goes, before thinking it did not work."

We reported that we got a plain regular Band-Aid, report we man.
