I know! It is like a pro-science dream.  If anyone had the brass ones to enforce public health emergencies to deal with anti-vaxxing, it was definitely New York. Good on them.

As for my lovely husband's health condition, it's our understanding he won't be offered a liver transplant as the root of his condition(neuroendocrine cancer) is an ongoing hormonal imbalance, it's a constant fight against the inevitable. .....if only livers grew on trees......understandably folks with more favourable circumstances will have priority.

 

As for wills, that's a really good point, however, right atm we have so much going on what with all the doctors/hospital appointments(he's apparently an extremely rare case so being studied by the two separate major university specialists plus another top of the neuroendocrine field doc in addition to a renal/urologist ) & trying to get our/my AOS sorted out,  also he's still insisting on working 12 hour constant night shifts (he's a hard working determined SOB which I love & admire him massively for ) so I've made a note of it & once things settle down a bit we can get it taken care of. 

 

Thankyou everyone for your understanding & support. This wasn't at all how we could have imagined the start of our married life to be but we can only play with the cards as we are dealt them. We will do what we can & make the best of what we have. NikLR you're absolutely right & I'm so glad I'm here with him now,  that doesn't mean I don't feel like we've been 'robbed' sometimes, I am working on counting my blessings & having gratitude, there are times when I struggle.

It's always hard to count the blessings we have and even more so when your spouse is sick.  I totally understand.

When we gassed the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile on Thurs. night, we noticed a low-beam headlight out, de-lighted she man.

We told Mrs. T-B. of this and urged her to get it fixed on Fri., promptness before tickets man.

It took only 2 reminders for her to accomplish this, mirabile dictu re ADD she man.

We were pleased with her, si man.

However, she got her hair done again and is still not a rubia, sigh man.

We are barely Many days away from the meat-tenderizing of our back on Monday, anticipate we man.

We are fully Many days into discontinuation of aspirin, ibuprofen, & similar Heap Strong Medicine, suffer we man.

We will prove the folly of discontinuing HSM when we appear at the doc as an immobile ball of pain, take that MD man.
