I don't do it here at all, save for diapers during our actual summer.  I dry a few items of clothes inside (tights, wool, some dresses, dry clean only things that I've washed, etc.). I wish I could do more because our electric rates are kind of high.  Now that our basement is dry, even in the worst times of year, it might be something to look into.

Yes. I dry inside when the outside doesnt  allow it. Our electricity rates are nasty .. comes with bring rural... and it’s much easier with just the two of us than got those with kiddos at home. But nothing beats the scent of sun dried towels  and bedding.

Very nonrestful/nonpeaceful Sunday, yuck man.

No nap, with or without cat, no zzz man.

Missed watching AFV, religious experience man.

Didn't even get bed remade till within the hour, unmade man.

Never recovered from icy shower this morn, either, No Man is an Iceland man.

No water heater till Mon. eve at optimal earliest, no man.

Laundry still baking, week's lunches unmade, behind schedule man.

We wish to redo the day, re-Sunday we man.

We have finished with laundry and lunches, warsh/bake/fold and compile glop we man.

Corpulent, purring feline just awoke from Nap #Many* of today and is currently enlapped, host we miu man.

She is resting her chin on our forearm and gazing at us in adoring rapture, heaven man.

 

*one of which was enjoyed while sprawled across the top stair, nearly trip over miu we man

Barely a week to go before we get the meat-tenderizer in our LMany disk bilaterally, relief (?) for we man.

We got the preliminary financial estimate, see and fall onto floor in dead faint we man.

We are going to do this without anesthesia, no way in Hades we'll pay for that too man.

It can't possibly come close to a colonoscopy without anesthesia, undergo that already we man.

Mrs. T-B. had her annual fizzicle exam, poked/prodded she man.

Severely anemic again, despite daily iron pills one week/month man.

We are going to double her up on them, and every day, iron she we man.

We will also iron her during next week's laundry, can't hurt man.

One of my obgyns goes to me without getting to my bloodwork yet, "almost all pregnant women are anemic by this point, you'll just need to take an iron supplement"

Me: "I'm definitely not anemic, I eat a NY strip steak 5 times a week"

Doc: Looks at the test results, and says "that would explain why it isn't low!"

 

Tell her to eat some steak. There is no replacing real red meat.

Nola's story reminds me of my checkup a few months ago...

 

Me: Oh, and by the way Doc, concerning the hernia referral last year, I went to the specialist and he advised to just monitor it and come back if it gets serious. Nothing else needs to be done about it.

Insurance: [Co-pays on annual checkups waived if no new medical issues are discussed.]

Doc: [Furiously writes some notes, presumably about hernia.]

Mailman: Here's a bill for a $40 copay on that Doc visit.
