It's all been a bit overwhelming here recently, husband's health issues still being investigated, lots of dr/hospital appointments, difficult stuff to wrap our heads around, staring down the barrel of attempting to slow the inevitable with quality of life reductive treatments,  timing & just the whole great big ironic unfairness of it all. 

Trying hard to keep it all together & give him all the support he needs. I'm in touch with my friends back in Scotland, but time difference makes it tricky & after 5 years of Skype with hubby continually I resent the damn thing whilst simultaneously being glad of its existence. 

 

Wedding ceremony is meant to take place in a few short weeks & not had chance to organise much at all, no officiator, no photographer, no dress.....

 

Too many things....trying to stay on top of it all. ...the fear over how we will manage, the upset over not wanting to see the love of my life have to go through pain, discomfort & stress, feeling useless about not being able to do much of anything to help.

 

I'm sorry for dumping this here.

We also mowed 2/Many'rds or Many/Many'ths of the back yard, neat & thorough we man.

Two thick sweatbands consumed, sweat we man.

 

There are two community GSs (many sellers in one place) on Sat., itinerary we man.

Rain should miss us or hold off, cross-fingering we man.

Then come a boatload of ESs, inspect they we man.

 

Kids' Activity Day at Home Despot, take Mini-B. we man.

Also Many%-off weekend at Big Lots, energetically patronize we man.

We had great fortune today, whee man.

 

We arose at o'dark-Many to attend two in-one-place community GSs, intrepid we man.

The take from these, see man:

  -- blouse for Mrs. T-B. = $1, steal man

  -- Many (2+1) oval-shaped disposable party-plates = $1, steal man

  -- T-shirt & (new) underwear for Mini-B. = $1, steal man

  -- Many (2+2+2) books for Mini-B. = $1, steal man

  -- 2 books for Mini-B. = $1, steal man

 

Subsequent standard GSs/ESs yielded the following take, see man:

  -- Tommy Hilfiger bathmat, Many (2+1) dry-pasta products = $2, steal man

  -- Many (2+2+1) warshcloths, nearly full bottle rubbing-alcohol, new Gold Toe socks, 

       blouse for Mrs. T-B., stack of Solo cups, huge paper clip = $Many-&-a-half 

       ($2x2x2 + half a buck), deal man

  -- nearly full tube Crest toothpaste = half a buck, steal man

 

Grand Total = $Many ($2x2x2x2)

After the two community GSs, we returned to the casa and took Mini-B. to Home Despot to build a birdcasa we take wee man.

Mini-B. has a fine mechanical eye, see sharply wee man.

Before the point of no return, he noted that he had a piece backwards, amelioration man.

As planned, Mrs. T-B. showed up halfway through to encourage him and take fotos, proud she man.

Mini-B. then creatively painted the birdcasa, artistic wee man.

He & Mrs. T-B. then took birdcasa to show Mama T-B., proud senior she man.

 

After GS-ing/ES-ing, we got the oil changed in the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile, crisis stage man.

We then took the T-B.-mobile for the same, timely stage man.

The Mrs.-T-B.-mobile was fed with Many half-of-half-gallons of Peak Full Synthetic ManyWMany, notable man.

This batch had been bought at Dollar General on closeout for $2 + half a buck each, steal man.

As usual, we were pleased with our Cheap Gringo's sharp eye of thriftiness, self-pleased we man.

After a much-needed shower and nap-with-cat, we went to Big Lots for Many%-off Day, save we man.

We really dig our new warshing-machine, high-tech stuff man.

The fastest of the Many (2+2) spin speeds saves dryer time, time = money man.

 

Furthermore, there is a mechanism to unlock the lid when necessary, about time man.

Old machine had none, grrrr man.

When contents got out of balance, old machine would keep refilling & agitating, interminable man.

Only way to intervene was to yank plug from wall, not big overexaggeration man.

We are glad that old machine was curbsided, good riddance man.
