New cars give you better interest rates than older ones.  My interest rate is almost half of hubs.

Bad Nola-B. ma'am!  Bad, BAD Nola-B. ma'am!

That looks like a Yucko or a Polo or whatever they drive in Poland, oj tak.

We, conversely, are chauffeured by Smedley or Jeeves in a luxurious, POTS-receipt-funded stretch limousine, with enough room for all the rubias, see ma'am.

Yo speakee da English Bro 🤑 it's coriander!

It's all been a bit overwhelming here recently, husband's health issues still being investigated, lots of dr/hospital appointments, difficult stuff to wrap our heads around, staring down the barrel of attempting to slow the inevitable with quality of life reductive treatments,  timing & just the whole great big ironic unfairness of it all.

Trying hard to keep it all together & give him all the support he needs. I'm in touch with my friends back in Scotland, but time difference makes it tricky & after 5 years of Skype with hubby continually I resent the damn thing whilst simultaneously being glad of its existence.

Wedding ceremony is meant to take place in a few short weeks & not had chance to organise much at all, no officiator, no photographer, no dress.....

Too many things....trying to stay on top of it all. ...the fear over how we will manage, the upset over not wanting to see the love of my life have to go through pain, discomfort & stress, feeling useless about not being able to do much of anything to help.

I'm sorry for dumping this here.

I'm sorry to hear about all of this. It is good that you can be here to help him through it.

Try not to worry too much about the details of the wedding and just enjoy the day and being together.

So, I read a bunch of stuff online that said the equivalent of "bla bla bla you can't take your own passport photos and have them approved", etc. I knew this couldn't be true because I've done it for maybe the last 4 or 5 passports we've gotten, but hey, maybe they got more stringent.

I took this one with my iphone, not even a real/good camera like the last ones, and I got notified today that they've printed and mailed my new passport.

😎

Now, I hear the faint whisperings of Ikea Winnipeg, come to me Nola, eat meatballs, buy lots of unnecessary household items...
