Happy belated birthday to Mini-B & Dave! :)

Thanks. Will have had two of Anastasia's birthdays where we're in the same place before one of mine (we were in St. Petersburg over her birthday last year), but January wasn't really convenient for us to meet prior to her coming here to stay.

Everybody is talking about snow, but it is too cold for snow in the icebox.

The Dane is supposed to clean the house with the kids for my birthday this weekend.  We will see how that goes.

If he could do it like this, that would be great.

Anyway...

Boy TD bank, I don't know what kind of outfit they operate. But I'm like...in disbelief....

How, in today's day and age, can you compete with speed equal to a snail crawling on a turtle's back?

They sent me an email today....like what? 2 weeks after I told them to go #### themselves?

"Is there anything we can do for you?"

Now, that's the correct question.

But man....the fast eats the slow.....

in the past couple of weeks, Cap 1 bought me lunch, sent a buffet to the office, and sent me a nice gift card....

And of course, they asked to come in to the office to try to get more personal accounts as well. (and they did!)

<sigh> I don't know if it's TD as a whole, or just this clown show of a branch, but they suck.

I have a personal account with them too. I'll close it when I get around to it.

from capital 1's presentation in the office, it occurred to me how retarded a lot of my guys are when it comes to preparing for the future.

So I kinda had a retirement seminar for them.

A couple of them started investment accounts with T Rowe Price....

me too but I'm still conflicted on if changing locations is a good move.  More traffic and there certainly isn't room there either to move up in the business.  I would be front desk for life!   I told them I need full time.  I will reiterate on Monday that means 40 hours for me, which is pretty much what I get now.  I also won't be able to take my dog to work.  They do offer good benefits and I could wear scrubs that have a nice colour and fit appropriately.

I've never liked TD.  My ex was with them.  He sent me in with his card to get some cash out and they took the card from me and froze his account because I knew the pin.

Here, the branch would reach out to the card holder. It's banking on a personal level.

What do you expect from a Canadian/ Hispanic bank...

After all, aren't they Toronto Dominicans?
