Aunt and uncle who surprise visited us on Friday (since they probably won't make the ceremony in June, and live out west, unlike most of the extended family) gifted us an Instant Pot, so of course we had to try it. I also mentioned that I'd heard you could make a cheesecake in them, which let to mom & PRG collaborating on dinner and (non-instant pot) cheesecake, with me occasionally pointing out where things are … Was very good.

Actual rant: I got a Shark vacuum back in January because my Dyson was out of service while I waited for replacement parts.  It was great for the first few weeks, but now I don't like it at all. The suction is not as good as the Dyson, the width of the track is like 1/3, and the crevice tool is abysmal and doesn't work at all. My house is not as clean and I don't like it one bit.
