K1 visa from Pakistan

My feiance has been in administrative processing for like 9 and half months.

Can anyone give me any feedback is it suppose to take this long. I am getting the run around

from everyone I can't get anyone to help me

Each case is different and there is no timeframe.

We have been on AP 5 month and I email the embassy about twice a month and

call DOS on case status every 2 weeks or so.

You can try a congessional inquiry but that won't speed things up, maybe they just

give them a little more ino than you but usualy it is a waste of time.

Sorry your still in AP and it is very common for Pakistani applicants and even now more females are being put in AP. AP is a dark hole and you will have to just pray for patience and wait out the processing. My husband was in AP for 5 months and a congressman or senator cannot expedite the processing since they can claim it is a matter of National Security. My best advise is to take your journey one day at a time and remain in constant communication with your SO and keep records of calls, chats ,emails, etc and do not discuss the AP for your sanity's sake. Good luck on getting out of AP soon.
