Hy guys please help, we received a message with receipt number and notice home for I-797, can someone advice what is next step? Thanks

did you just send in your papers? is this a NOA1? what did you file for?

if so sit back relax and push on with your day and just wait, check the uscis website for update, and live your life.

more information is greatly appreciated if you want more answers :)

Edit, Oh and an updated timeline is also helpful :P

if it is AOS from K1, you have about 6-8 month to wait on AP or combo card I think they call it, can't work, can't do much of anything.

and you will get a letter do do bio metrics at some time, and then on and on just waiting is the next step

So 3 years to get an interview 😂

Interview availability is based on your consul.  Our interview could have been 2 mos after approval

Your post is in the k1 forum.   What benefits are you applying for?

if this is a K1 visa that was just applied for it could take 6-8 months for approval total time 8-12 months for completion

Based on OP's previous questions, it looks like this is a K-1...........I wish everyone would fill in their time lines....

i m actually asking what is the next step ? noa? i don’t think will be that long we hire a company to do it for us anyway we shouldn’t have a problem with our documents, just wondering next step is Noa probably

it is your choice to hire someone but it will not make it move faster, really just more money out of your pocket with the same slow and steady time as everyone else.

and you never know if they included everything or missed something.

after NOA1, you wait nothing to do but check USCIS website for updates based on your invoice receipt number or whatever they call it now

lol I can't even remember what mine was.
