Hi everyone!

We are filing from Argentina and already have NOA2 and our NVC case number. Now what? I see on the NVC website there are 6 steps before getting the interview, including sending in lots of documents. Is this the case for Argentina?

I appreciate any local advice/tips! Thanks!

Greenbaum,

Do you have the link for IR1 visas for Argentina US Embassy?

lenasophia,

I'm still waiting for NOA2 but I will follow your timeline, I'd like to know how much time it's taking to get the interview at our local Embassy. Good luck!

My case is ready at the embassy since January 9, but did not get any DHL packet on the mail or my fiance did not receive any email on the adresses he added on the I129F Form or NVC

Does anyone from Argentina Know how long it takes to be notified by the US Embassy in Buenos Aires?, I´m getting a little anxious. And If someone knows the waitting time for interview it will be great, because I still don´t know if designing my wedding Dress in Argentina or wait till I´m in New York with my fiancé... Any advice on this?

Thanks!

I don't know, all I know is when I checked the ceac says "ready". So many people on the NOA2>NVC group in visajourney say it means  my case left the NVC and is already at the embassy in Buenos Aires.

I have sent an email to the US embassy asking what I should I do and if they have already received my I129F packet. got an automated response saying they take 15 days to give answer to my question. The NVC has my fiance's email as well as the packet. They only have my address

None of the Argentinians in this forum answers, also argentinians do not update their timelines so can't get real help on this. I'm scared to be loosing time that I could be using to move forward with apointments, but don't know what to do, can't find info about next step. The US Embassy webpage in Argentina does not explain what to do eather. Im stucked 😓

Did you file entirely from abroad? I am ready to file for my fiancee from Argentina and since we both are living here I can't find any information on how to pay the fee from abroad.

Thanks.

The only info I see is after your petition is approved. What I need to know is how to pay the fee for the I-129F form from abroad.

maybe i am missing something.

Those instructions are for people who already filed and had the I-129F form approved. I haven't sent it yet.

I what I need to find out is about paying the fee from that form from abroad. I  had no luck with the U.S. embassy in Bs As.

This a prime example of why you should not jump into a thread that has had no activity for some time and the thread is talking about an entirely different subject. It just plain confuses ppl. I for one thought you were asking about paying your interview fee because of the title of the thread. Start your own thread with your subject and don't hijack someone else's thread.

Here is your answer.

You may pay the fee with a money order, personal check, or cashier's check. When filing at a USCIS Lockbox facility, you may also pay by credit card using Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions.
