Weather is great here today! I wanna play hookie! I've been walking about a mile every night which I know isn't a lot, but that's all the doctor will allow me to do with my still freaked out foot from over a year and 1/2 ago! I'm getting bored with the weights and pilates so walking has been a great change of pace. Only thing is, when I first get out of bed in the mornings as soon as my foot hits the floor there is intense pain for about 5 minutes then I have issues walking for a bit. Oh well....no pain, no gain right?

Khallid has an interview for another job today so I'm praying it will work out. It's more money and better hours so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm going to try to swing by a bit for the slumber party tonight. Don't know how long I'll last though. I've had a major case of insomnia the last couple of nights so I'm hoping I might actually be able to get some sleep tonight. (I'm picking up some Ambien later today!)

Have a great day everyone!

i broke my foot about a year and a half ago too... still hurts! especially in the same times as you describe. after i've been sitting awhile and i get up again. do you see a physical therapist? i started going recently and it definitely has helped. not cured, but helped. :) hope you feel better soon!

today i have my last job interview in ny before i pack it up and move back to ca. hopefully something will come out of this! have a nice day all!

Yeah, I saw one in the past. After going for about 2 months I was still having the pain and she told me my muscle tone, etc is great, it's probably the ligaments that I ripped that are the problem. My doctor said he could do surgery to tighten the ligaments, but I have a couple friends that have had it done and they have more problems now than they did before. I get the most relief when my friend who is a massage therapist gets ahold of my foot.

Have a great day everyone!

I've had horrible insomnia the past month-and-a-half so I feel your pain on that. (Let me know how the Ambien works for you.) Could it be that the hubster is gone. I end up laying on the couch watching celebrity fit club and *blush* charm school until like 1am or so. Then toss and turn in bed until 230 or 3 and turn around and get up at 630. That, in turn, makes me incredibly tired come 3pm. I think it is just stress and I'm hoping that once my family is back together I can settle back down into a normal routine.

By the way...WILL SOMEONE PLEASE CALL ME FOR THE SLUMBER PARTY??? If I'm not reminded, I'll totally miss it coz I have absolutely no memory. ......*ehmjackie*...... I'll do my best to make it!!

We are going to see Shrek 3 tonight with the whole family. Will be Omar's first cinema experience. Made 3 loaves of bread last night. At least this time we finished by 11pm!! I'm demanding a 10pm curfew tonight!! :protest:

Dee: What is with your boss?

Charles: Glad to see you could make it! :P

Lal: Have you tried a chirpractor? Maybe something is not in line. A headache shouldn't last that long, as I'm sure you know.

Amerylu: I agree that surgery is NOT the way to go, when it can be avoided. Always a risk of scar tissue developing which makes the original surgery not worth it. Besides, massage feel sooooo much better than a scalpel!!

Moody: Congrats getting back to the gym.

Doodle and Jackie: I know you're around.. :luv:
