HI EVERYONE! MY NAME IS MICHELLE AND I AM A FILIPINA A U.S CITIZEN  AND BOTH PARENTS ARE ALREADY HERE I PETITION THEM 3 YRS AGO

NOW MY QUESTION IS I AM PLANNING TO PETITION MY SISTER OR MAYBE LET HER APPLY HAS A TOURIST VISA I KNOW SHE NEEDS TO FILE DS-160 

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF U HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE PETITIONING SIBLING COZ I DONT KNOW WHERE TO START  I REALLY WANT HER HERE EVEN JUST A MONTH

SO SHE CAN SEE OUR COUNTRY,OUR PARENTS AND OF COURSE ME AND MY DAUGHTERS  INSTEAD ALL OF US FLY IN PH ID RATHER HER FLY HERE TO U.S TO VISIT US AND I WILL COVER HER EXPENSES ITS MORE LESSER EXPENSES ANY IDEA  AFTER FILLING DS 160 HOW LONG IS THE WAIT TO GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR INTERVIEW? AND BTW SHE IS MARRIED FOR MORE 3-4 YRS, SHE DOESN'T HAVE A CHILD,SHE WORK, SHE DOESN'T HAVE  LOTS OF MONEY,NO HOUSE BUT SHE BOUGHT A LAND AND STILL PAYING FOR IT. YOU THINK SHE HAS A CHANCE.. THANK U ALL FOR YOUR REPLY APPRECIATE IT!

She can certainly apply for a tourist visa, but it doesn't sound promising.......sounds like she would have a very, very difficult task of overcoming immigrant intent to the US...........but it cost only $160 to try.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I agree that it is going to be an uphill battle for her to get a visitor visa. With both her sibling and parents here immigrant intent is going to be high with her.

 

She is free to apply.
