Very encouraging to hear...and congrats!

We relocated to the Orlando area from Texas just this past July, and our status has been on “Ready to schedule interview” since June.  Hopefully we are not too far behind.

Best wishes!  When is the day?

I don't know the date yet. I just saw the change of status online and need to wait for the letter.

My status changed to ready to be scheduled for interview on late June,  so should be getting scheduled sometime soon too!

We are in Houston as well.

Our status has been at "Ready to Schedule Interview" since March.

Not to be a party pooper but Texas, Houston in particular, is one of the most backed up locations as far as Immigration goes.

The good thing is our EAD and AP were approved early on.

We were prepared for the long wait either way so it's no surprise.

We're not anxious or anything just enjoying life as usual.

Just to clarify, we are no longer in Houston.  Just read on another thread of a fellow Orlando applicant that just got their interview scheduled, and they are a January 2019 filer.  So...  hopefully, soon!

Good luck to you!

An update about my case: it has been a bit over 120 days since the interview. I called the USCIS line; the agent said everything was still in processing time, but he took my email address and told me they'd give me some news in 7-10 days. I hope to hear back. :(

Hey guys!

I have a question for those who is NOT adjusting from K1 and got their SSN after their EAD got approved. My EAD got approved on August 13th and I got my EAD card last week. However, there is still no any sign about the SSN. I went to the SS Office last Friday because someone told me I should ask what's going on and the lady in the window said I'm not in the system and the USCIS also didn't let the Social Security office know about my approved EAD however when I applied for the EAD I marked that I need SSN. I checked it about a million times.

Before I call Tier2 I want to make sure how long does it take to get the SSN after the EAD got approved?  @Bluewaters said it took 10-15?! days but for me it's already 13 days and the USPS not going to bring any mail to me as far as I know from the informed delivery.

So my wife finally received her EAD after 7 months of waiting.  It was approved on the 6th.  I received the cards in the mail on the 13th.  I called SSA on Aug 14th to find out whether they were working on it or were notified of the EAD but it appears that was not the case (even though I ticked the box in the application where they were to notify SSA to issue a SSN).  On the 15th I went to the office and filed the SSN application, got the card in the mail on the 19th.

As far as the AOS decision goes, my interview was on May 22nd and still no word.  I called last week and I was informed by tier 2 that the case is still being reviewed and that officers have up to 120 days to review after which I can request an inquiry.  Anyone else have some insight on the timings after AOS interview?

Where's your Field Office?

I’m in Scottsdale near Phoenix but I have a feeling I might be getting an interview in Tucson since they are using other field offices to make things quicker.
