Congrats for your ead approval.

I am happy for you. Yet  I am also waiting to get ready to be scheduled for interview. But at least with the EAD we can move on with our lives.

Yeah, the tracker app has issues. I am experiencing the same problem and that pisses me off.

Thankful that I can live my life too now.. Life is pretty good..

Said she'd make a decision in a week, was hoping it'd be instant like some people here but fingers crossed! Still no update yet.

Hello Everyone,

Today our status changed from "interview is ready to be scheduled" to "Interview was scheduled"   This is great news! We had an RFIE and responded to it accordingly. They wouldn't accept my payments from the military as proof of income as a veteran with my job. So we had to get a co-sponsor. They updated that they received our RFIE, but we had no response as to whether they were happy with our co-sponsor and all the documentation. Since the status changed to interview was scheduled, I guess that means they were? Our co-sponsor makes over 50K a year and we sent tax returns and transcripts both just to cover our bases. Anyone else have a co-sponsor and interview recently?

Congratulations. How long did it take for your status to change to ready to be scheduled for interview after they received your RFIE?

Green Card is in mail, and from tracking, it is already in Honolulu..

We interviewed Tuesday 8am and it was fast and easy..

we gave them evidence as in photos, joint account bank statements, insurance card and even vehicle registered in our names..

but we both felt like it was already a slam dunk at interview time..K-2 was with us..and the fact that "wife" is 5 months pregnant was enough evidence of proof of relationship..

K-2 is in 1st grade, and she was asked simple questions..interviewer looked at wedding pictures and vacation pictures and smiled and said congratulations.

Monday our Green Cards will be in the mailbox...Tuesday..Drivers License and Social Security...

Congrats. Our interview was on Monday and it was quick and easy too.

The postal service has the card arriving tomorrow, just in time to start work at my new job here on the Big Island 🌴

@Bluewaters how long after your EAD case was approved you received your SSN? Mine was approved on August 14th, my EAD estimated delivery is tomorrow but still no SSN card.

You will receive the ssn not within a week. Maybe you should receive your ssn by Friday or Saturday or Monday.

I was approved on June 27. Received card on July 10 and ssn on July 15.

I got my EAD approved yesterday, the 19th,  same day I received a letter from my congressman by mail with the USCIS response to my congressional inquiry. I believe such inquiry was the key point for my approval, as two others inquiries created under my case were not assigned for processing on the date of the approval. As a matter of fact, USCIS replied to my congressman on the on Aug. 12, stating that the agency had requested my file, which would be reviewed by an officer within 60 days once received.
It took me 231 days to obtain my approval.

I am soooo happy, my status changed today and says "Interview was Scheduled" .

PD: Jan 2019

Office: Orlando, FL

No EAC or Travel Authorization and hopefully will not be needed.

Very encouraging to hear...and congrats!

We relocated to the Orlando area from Texas just this past July, and our status has been on “Ready to schedule interview” since June.  Hopefully we are not too far behind.

Best wishes!  When is the day?
