Congratulations!!

My interview in on Friday coming but alas I've heard from the Visa Bulletin that AOS has retrogressed and likely will not receive the GC for a few months (assuming we are approved).

I hope your interview went well! I received the positive news that my card was mailed to me only 2 days after the interview, hopefully you have similar luck!

211 days and no EAD.  Submitted an inquire and spoke to a Tier2 who said that the information on the system in not correct, that the processing time is still up to 8.5 months.....

:(

Getting desperate.....

I submitted an inquiry 9 days ago as well, and called Tier2 last Monday but she was useless. I called Tier2 this morning again because on the egov.uscis site there is an update that says my inquiry is not assigned to anyone. I wanted to know what does it mean exactly and why? She said the same thing that another Tier2 told you last week.

My I-765 application for work authorization has been finally approved!

- Receipt Date: 1/31/2019

- Sent a Status Inquiry on 7/31/2019 (a few days after the expected processing time was reduced)

- Called USCIS Tier 1 on 8/7/2019 (I did not see the need to escalate to T2)

- Status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced" on 8/12/2019

Note: I did not receive any updates on the AP case. Do I need to be worried? I'm assuming it has been approved as well.

If you did apply for AP together with the EAD, then your card will come as a combo card. Your ead card will also serve as your advance parole.

Congrats!

I have no updates at all. I should receive an answer by the 22nd...

I read in another thread that they are using LIFO (Last in first out) for the new applicants and that is the reason why it is showing that new applicants have 2.5 to 5 months of average processing time....

Let me know if you get an answer pls.

Did you check the egov site what kind of update do you have there about the EAD?

Thanks! It is just weird because my AP case has never been updated.

225 days since submission and counting... 2 weeks since inquiry submission for EAD.
I just tried to speak to a tier 2 for the first time. The conventional tier agent got all my data, gave me a service item number, and redirected my call. Then I talked to the USCIS electronic secretary, left my contact information for them to call me back, and was told my expected wait time was 456 min. Is this the normal way to talk to a tier 2?
