Thank you @The_EmpyreanYeah you were right. And I did know that at least in July many of us are going to get approvals. 

How long will it take to get my SSN?

Not a clue, but i'd expect a week or so. Wait a week after you get your EAD, and give SSO a call if you didn't get it by then.

Congratulations. Your patience and perseverance has finally paid off.  It must be such a relief to at least to get this approved.

We actually got our SSN number before our EAD card which we thought was kind of weird. Eventually you will get it.  Congratulations again

Aww..... Thank you very much. Now, just waiting for my I485 case to get ready to be scheduled for interview. But indeed I felt relieved after getting the notification that ead has been approved.

Now that my AOS has changed to “ready to schedule an interview” should I expect some written confirmation of that, or only once an interview has actually been scheduled?
