Yes! It seems so! Did you try to call uscis because the status could be updated with them. And did you try the old and new website?

you can call and explain that the 2 weeks are expired and u didn’t receive anything.

What kind of evidences dis u take besides pictures? Did she do the medical exam here or in her country? It was asked on the interview?

Thank you

I called USCIS last week.  No updates, simply under review.  I'll try again this week.  I've checked both websites daily. Besides the pics, I had joint bank account, a credit card extension under her name, cable bill, insurance card with her name and the kids, her name listed as beneficiary in my 401k account.  The medical was done in her country but had to be redone here as well as any missing vaccines, blood work etc.

Surprisingly, I got two notifications on my case tracker and I was hoping that was going to be some good news for me. I log in to read the notifications and it says "Status update....... ON December 31,2018 we received your EAD and AP application,........."

And I was like what!

I just hope I get to hear some good news very soon.

Wishing us all good luck.

Hello! For those of you who are waiting for EAD/AP as well, I just got off the phone with USCIS and they said the NBC is currently working on October 2018 applications and the current processing time is 6-8 months. Not sure if this is new news for people, but it was for me! Thought I'd share ~

I think someone on another topic had a similar call and got told the same dates, but I got my combo card last week and I filed at the end of January, and there are a lot of others on VJ that have gotten theres that filed after October - I'm sure that the USCIS phone line has out of date info.

Yeah I'm not too sure...I filed January 8th and I haven't received my combo card yet and I know there are a lot of others who also haven't gotten theirs either. I feel like waiting for the card/approval letter to come in the mail is probably the best thing to do lol!

I'm not suggesting that everyone who filed in January should already have their card - I'm just questioning the October date - I'm sure it is actually much later than that

Yeah I agree. I'm sure they are still working on cases in October, but have obviously started months after that too ~ Maybe that's what he meant? I don't know baha

Surprisingly,so they are still working on October filers since March. I don't really believe that. This is  because most of these October filers seems to be out of the normal processing time. Many of them have also received their ead/GC .

Just hope you get your ead or get scheduled for gc interview.

Me too! But my office is San Francisco, so I don't expect an interview anytime soon :(

Hopefully EAD/AP comes in soon!

The agent checked to see if my case is within processing time and he said yes (NOA1 January 8th)... what do you think? I just checked your timeline and we have similar NOA1 dates~

He didn't say specifically whether it was early/mid/late October... but there have been lots of approvals for months after October, so hoping they are just working on finishing off the remaining cases! 🤞

Yeah I got what you mean. My big question is they are keep saying that they are working on the October filers since March!

Honestly, I don't care anymore. I want to be a lawful permanent resident in this country and I feel like I'm not welcome in here.

Yeah I don't know :( It's really frustrating... This entire process is very flawed. I also feel the same way haha. It's been tough!

I do agree with you. I feel I am not welcome here and I have to always carry my passport along with me everywhere I go. I hope we get some good news.
