Please, when you put in a service inquiry, does it mean that your case will be taken from the officer handling to a different room or a different officer ? Can service inquiry delay your case?

Please I need your answers?

case inquiry is basically "hey get your act together, this case is being left behind, get to work on it ASAP". If it wasn't assigned to an officers, i assume an officer will be told by supervisor specifically to take a look at specific case for given reason.

I don't believe it can delay, but it's USCIS. Nobody knows what happens.

Thank you once again. So I just ended my call with USCIS T1. The lady I spoke with said they have received my fingerprints.  She also said they responded to my service inquiry I placed  and send me an email but the email was wrong that's why I never received any response from USCIS. Thanks to the lady I spoke with today, I have corrected my email address. USCIS says "They are still reviewing my RFIE response".

So all I can do is continue to wait whiles I hope to get updates on my case.

Never a day goes by where we aren't hoping and praying for you!!  At least you were able to discover something amiss (with your email account); and hopefully your calling in today will trigger some kind of "hey, we need to process this guy's application!".

Best wishes!!!

Hi everyone. Could anybody here tell me the procedure to request an expedite of the AP (I-131)? The reason for the expedite is a very ill parent. What are the steps to request an expedite? Thanks in advance.

Call the USCIS "mis"information line and request an expedite.

Oh the USCIS line... How i not miss those calls.. lol we should call and see whats up with our case lol

About the only thing we can all have at this point, is self-humoring to deal with all of this.

I swear I'm going to buy us all beers when this is over!
