I am not going to use pomp-and-pageantry here, because it's not the prudent thing to do.  Many of you have been following my postings, some with grins, some with disdain, and some in support.

I was left with little-to-no-choice but to file an Expedite request, as my situation was looking extremely grim with the upcoming termination of my employment that not only would eliminate our family's survival income, but also do a huge dis-service to the folks I serve and the community we all serve in my employment capacity.  I'm not going in to great details of my employment...but truth-be-told, I work FOR the citizens, residents and visitors that we serve in our city.

As of 1:00pm today, June 7th, my status has been updated to: "New Card is Being Produced".

I want each and every one of you to know that while I am enormously relieved, the welling up of my eyes is for all of us...EVERY ONE OF US...who continues to deal with extreme anxiety, stress, and frustration waiting for the process to move along.  I am not leaving us, just because.  I'm going to stick around and keep an eye out and share my encouragement and support.

For it is us who are doing these processes the way in which we are supposed to...legally...methodically...properly.

I wish everyone a safe and pleasant weekend.  Please...please...PLEASE do not give up hope.  That's all I've been able to rely on...and what I need you all to rely on, as well.   ☮️

Thank you for your kind words..And above all..CONGRATS!!🇺🇸🌷🎉

Thank you, Empyrean!  I sincerely appreciate the encouragement, the information you've provided along the way, and the "reality checks" that I've needed.  We're all in this together!

Just curious how long it takes now to actually receive the card in-hand?

Probably a week or so, maybe less.

Hey guys! I'm going to call the Tier2 soon. I need to file for an AP (I haven't done it with the package because my husband and I thought I won't need it). Last Friday I've got a bad news from home and I need to get back as soon as possible so I need to file an expedite AP. Do you guys think it's possible to get it within a month?

Good morning family. It is a new week and let us be hopeful. I hope this week brings joy to many of January filers.

So I am at day 161 since Case was received by USCIS. And day 118 since RFIE was received. So I  hope to get an update any time soon.

All the best of luck to my January filers.

I am furious now. I have tried to call the USCIS number several times. I was keep pressing the 1 for English and the machine kept put me to spanish language then it hunged up the phone. It happened 3 times. Then finally I stayed on the English menu and the machine told me they are experiencing high volume of phone calls and are unable to transfer my call and please try to call later. It didn't even offer me that they'll call me back later.

Since this was my first time to call them please help me how the f@#&k I can reach a Tier2 person??

The whole process is frustrating. Now VJ has change the proposed approval date.

May 7th, I called them to put in an inquiry about my RFIE and yet no update.

My husband who is an American citizen keeps telling me there is nothing I can do and I should relax, they will approve my case soon. But I don't know how long to wait.

Besides my attorney just lie to me when we were filing the aos because he said I will have the green card within 4 to 6 months. And now I realize it was just the opposite.

@Northerndynasty ,i have decided to not worry myself by thinking about the process too much.

From my understanding, the only way, is to get transferred from where you can't even reach to...Tier1.  :(  Keep trying?  I would suggest trying to be the very first caller of the day, waaaaaaaaaay earlier in the morning.

Yeah I just called my husband and he said the same. We live on the West Coast but we will start to call them tomorrow at 5 am because this is ridiculous. I was very patient till now. I wish I can yell at someone to the USCIS now!

My Liar...errrrr...Lawyer, is quite the card, as well.  But, he obviously knew how to swindle the money from me to "help" me file my case.  He responded to an email of mine back on May 8th just this past Friday - June 10th.  Really, Bro?  Like, how uncool is that?!  Doofus...  But, he managed to get me to cough-up the cash, so who is truly to blame, but myself?

My wife and I are betting on how long it takes for him to contact me about the latest status in my case.  Also, I just received a "Courtesy Notice" in the mail on Saturday, regarding the fact that I didn't include a signed Medical form in my I-485 application.  It's a Courtesy notice, because it just reiterates that I will "probably" need a Medical clearance and will "probably"  need to bring it to my AoS interview.  But, it is not affecting the current processing of the case.  Surely, my on-the-record representing Attorney has also received this notice, no?  Yeah...let's see how it takes him to "get with me" on that one, too!

I have no doubt, the Attorneys will say what you WANT TO HEAR; rather than what you NEED TO HEAR.  Story of our lives!

My AoS processing time is actually stated by USCIS as 17-24 months!!  That's insane!!  Good thing there is the option of the EAD/AP....
