Hello, I filed January 11, had the AOS from K1 interview on May 22nd. Did not get instant approval, just general wording and that we'd be getting an answer in the mail.  Anyone else waiting on a response?

Did you check your case status??

How was the interview? Did you guys went together? What did they ask? Could you share a bit of your experience?

Thank you

I am not going to use pomp-and-pageantry here, because it's not the prudent thing to do.  Many of you have been following my postings, some with grins, some with disdain, and some in support.

I was left with little-to-no-choice but to file an Expedite request, as my situation was looking extremely grim with the upcoming termination of my employment that not only would eliminate our family's survival income, but also do a huge dis-service to the folks I serve and the community we all serve in my employment capacity.  I'm not going in to great details of my employment...but truth-be-told, I work FOR the citizens, residents and visitors that we serve in our city.

As of 1:00pm today, June 7th, my status has been updated to: "New Card is Being Produced".

I want each and every one of you to know that while I am enormously relieved, the welling up of my eyes is for all of us...EVERY ONE OF US...who continues to deal with extreme anxiety, stress, and frustration waiting for the process to move along.  I am not leaving us, just because.  I'm going to stick around and keep an eye out and share my encouragement and support.

For it is us who are doing these processes the way in which we are supposed to...legally...methodically...properly.

I wish everyone a safe and pleasant weekend.  Please...please...PLEASE do not give up hope.  That's all I've been able to rely on...and what I need you all to rely on, as well.   ☮️

i am so beyond happy and excited for you. This is a very stressful process. Congratulations. Wishing you and everyone else the best.

I also got an updated status today, "card is being produced" (and actually got "case has been approved" about 5 hours later in the day - weird) and I have the same Biometrics date as you.  I didn't expedite my application, I can see that you did - so do you think the expedite actually sped up the process? Or were both our cases in the same "March 4th Bio completion queue"? I'm interested to see if your thoughts.

In any case, congratulations!

In my heart-of-hearts, I honestly believe that it was solely on the Expedite request, with 24 pages of documented evidence of how catastrophic our situation would be if I were to have to terminate my employment this August.  Historically, in my life, I have never been "lucky".  Everything I have and have succeeded in, has been because of hard work, determination, and validation.  I honestly think that had the Expedite option not have been available to me, I would be exactly where I was before 1pm today...and that way for a very, very long time.  My bios were done in Texas, so I'm not sure about the commonality, unless yours were also done in Texas.  Possibly?

Congratulations to you, as well!  Now, I continue with my daily prayers of Hope for ALL of us.  Each and every single one of us going through this.  (Yep, even the ones who weren't exactly happy with some of my postings. :) )

Thanks - I’m so happy to by done with the waiting (for this part at least)

No I got my bio’s done in New Jersey (as my local office, Brooklyn, NY was closed the day of my appointment - but that’s another story)

Just chance that it we both got Bio’s on the same day and approvals on the same day too then.

Thank you.  I sincerely appreciate it.

And yet...I have a deep sense of guilt for everyone else who’s holding this line with me.  I’m not leaving anyone behind.  I want everyone to know that we - my beautiful bride and I - will continue to pray for everyone every night for all of us.
