I will..Good luck to you as well..still no word on EAD though..just my GC..

anyone know how long it can take to have the interview?

Did the update say an interview HAD been scheduled or was READY because ready doesn’t mean much. That depends on which field office you are having your interview. It could be anything up to 2-4 years! Or you could be in a lucky one that schedules in a few days.

I'm just gonna repeat myself not to raise everyone hopes and misinformation

Interview is ready to be scheduled means you application arrived at Local office and is in line for interview. No notice will come in the mail. wait time depends on office itself.

interview is scheduled / Interview has been scheduled is the update you want to get.

However...in this Immigration World of just absolutely NOTHINGNESS, anything is better than just continued NOTHINGNESS.

It's something.  I wish I could get, something.  Anything to keep my hopes alive...

Maybe this week...

If the update is "Ready to be scheduled" that doesn't mean that you gonna have your interview date soon. It's been 2 months that I've got the Ready to be scheduled update and still no EAD or interview date yet. I just don't want you to be disappointed.

I do agree with you. I really wanna get this ready to be scheduled for an interview.

I mean it's negligible. If that makes you feel better yeah. But at this point, these "ready to be scheduled" are as useful as "case has been received".

And yes. Ready for interview doesn't mean that you'll get interview soon, it only means that it's sitting on the bottom of 20,000 cases waiting to be picked up by officer. I hate to be the person to convey the bad news lol. I literally stopped checking everything and just waiting.

@Northerndynasty any updates on expedite? I'm probably gonna file one soon as well. Her "dental" bills are reaching 4k now, and it's getting a little tight now, (useless european doctors mistake. And no suing him is not an option). And my insurance on her doesn't kick in until a full year has passed since she has been added,  as a "cooldown period' or whatever its called is in place.

I stopped checking everything too, sometimes when I'm really bored I start to read the VJ but I don't pay too much attention because it doesn't help on my case...

Nothing yet, but not surprised.  Will look for something within this week.  I will post when I get something meaningful.  I can't even consider dental - and for that matter - any kind of health care expenses - until I know what's going to happen with my entire employment situation.  I just hope I have enough for our residential, cars, food, utilities, and that I can drive come some kind of update.  And soon!

Yeah.. I have had enough savings to go through the wait period, but apparently she needs a crown lengthening and stuff like that so the bills are insane with no end in-sight, so i wanna see if can jump in sooner, before we run out of my savings. Even though we're still staying with my parents, the least i wanna do is go to them. They worked their life, they deserve to have money for their own things now.

Unfortunately, as others have already said, the "Ready" step as far as interviews go is misleading.

I received the exact same email as yourself on March 27th with nothing since.

It's basically a toss up as to when you'll actually get the interview scheduled. I'm sure there's a whole plethora of factors involved (processing location, individual handling your case, how well you submitted the package, etc. etc.....)

But I did get an email this morning that the last time they took action on our case was on May 6th so I'm just glad they are touched it recently.  What they did I have no idea....

Just an FYI not sure if this is happening to anyone else but I finally got an RFIE on May  29th - it was for 2018 taxes as when we filed in January tax season hadn't happened yet so of course we couldn't have sent in 2018's! We'll be sending it in right away but just figured I'd let folks know in case this becomes a common theme! Annoying but at least its only tax info!

My husband and I live in Phoenix!

Omg!! Looks like some people get ref for this reason and some not! I don’t understand! I only can assume it’s up to the person who is reviewing the process.

......

i was about to ask if someone who had the medical exam before coming if you guys did the form i-693 also or just the vaccines worksheet the doctor overseas gives? And for the interview, for those who had already? How these medical exams work? I had my medical exams overseas.

Curious, before you got RFE, what was your status? "Ready to schedule" or something else?
