I sent in my AOS(K1) package January  25th 2019, Phoenix /AZ ....so far timeline/reviews  i have seen for Phoenix is not encouraginng.😢

I am right there with you.  Filed AOS (K1) package on January 3rd, 2019 for San Francisco/CA. Timelines for that office also is not good. Checked the timelines for that office and they just scheduled February 2018 filers for interviews. At least we were lucky enough to get the EAD and AP documents

So...I have officially filed an Expedite request through USCIS.  It shows up as a request made on the old egov site, but not the new my.uscis site.

And after several days, it still shows as “not assigned” to any officer as of yet.

Did some digging around to other threads on this site, and found one that talks about Expedite requests.    You do NOT want to read that thread, I assure you!

A plethora of Expedite filers who, after at least 5-6 WEEKS, have still not heard anything about their Expedite request.

Which naturally leads to the next thought...why even both with that route, either?!

I’m pretty damn close to throwing in the towel, and moving to the Caribbean, where as a Canadian, most islands will welcome you with HUGE open-arms under the Commonwealth Countries Agreement.

Hmm..... I just hope we all begin to hear some good news.

For anyone that's interested, my expedite request for the AP was approved on 28th May (submitted evidence on 22nd May). The only update I got for it was on the old site where the EAD status changed to "card is being produced" (no update on the AP but I assumed it was because it's a combo card).

I received the combo card in the mail today without any status update about it being mailed etc. So I was surprised to get it so fast!

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Congrats! Just wondering in what order you heard about your expedite...I requested it over the phone yesterday and within a few hours got an email that says: "We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly.

Did you get that email too? Then did they contact you after that asking for evidence? What did you send? I'm a freelancer who works on a contract to contract basis so it's a bit complicated for me to show them official "job offers," but I have work lined up over the next few months.

So I called on 10th May to put in the request over the phone. Got an email on 16th May asking for evidence. It took us a while to get it all together so we didn’t send off the evidence until 22nd May. On 24th May we got the email saying “it’s under review...”. Same as your email so it seems you skipped the evidence stage? Did you submit evidence when you called? Then on 28th May the status for my EAD changed to “card being produced” but AP is still the same. No updates since then but received the card in the mail via priority mail today.

I applied to expedite the AP, so I sent in evidence related to that so I don’t think I can help. I didn’t apply to expedite the EAD but I got that anyway since it’s a combo card. I guess you just have to show severe financial loss if you don’t get the EAD soon (assuming that’s what you filed the request under. Maybe show your earnings are barely covering yours bills? I have no idea tbh, someone else might have better advice on that).

I hope that’s helpful and good luck!

Great - thanks so much! I'm trying to expedite both EAD and AP, and have separate reasons for each. I didn't get a fax number to submit evidence, so I haven't sent them anything. I'm a December filer and lots of people close to my receipt number are getting their approvals right now, so perhaps my case was already about to be approved? I have no idea so I'm just waiting to hear from them again...I also contacted our local congressman's office before putting in the request for an expedite. Hoping this long wait will be over soon! Thanks for the help.
