Anyone see the latest Estimated Processing Times now for EAD/AP, updated on the USCIS site today?!?!

Wow...it is absolutely insane!!  These people should be gravely ashamed of themselves!!

6.5-8.5 months, current PD date has dropped dramatically back to September 16, 2018!!!

This disgusting disgrace must end!

I wonder how much this will affect us having been in the system for some time now vs. new applications? For new applications I get the revised timeline but surely ours are further down the line and wouldn’t be subject to these longer waiting times?

We can only hope, but I have a feeling it’s the justification for why 99% of us aren’t (and won’t) be seeing results for a very, very long time.

it’s a not-so subtle way of this Administration suggesting you give up and “go home”.

This is very sad and I don't really wanna talk about it. I just hope they make a decision on my RFIE response and send my form  I 485  to my local Field office.

Frustrating us seems to be okay for them.

Hi!

Due to the EAD waiting time went up to 6,5 months to 8,5 months, I guess it's time for me to take a break from VJ for a couple of weeks, or months. Summer is here, I want to enjoy with my husband and not think about this freaking process.

I guess I have to do the same as well. Because my husband doesn't care much about the delay of the ead. I am the one who is worried about the delay of the ead. Now that it is 6.5 to 8.5 months, I must forget about ead and focus on something else to distract me.

LOL funny, my husband is the same. He keeps saying that "everything is okay hun, you don't have to worry because I have a good job and we have a roof above our head, and we are able to eat warm food every day". And you know what? He is totally right. We don't want to file expedite for financial loss, because you need to be careful with that. Your spouse is your beneficiary, so how can we file for financial loss?!

I say, let's enjoy the summer like we were in elementary school.

You are right. I know that no matter how long it takes, they will surely approve us. Let us all stay strong and relax. Do something else with our lives until we start working

My husband and I literally have this same conversation every week. He keeps telling me to stop worrying and checking my USCIS account every hour. We need to relax LOL I'm also thinking about logging out of VJ for a while...

Alrighty then, another month added to the estimate. Getting a gym membership first thing tomorrow and channeling all this anger and frustration at weights. Let us enjoy this summer and spend time with our loved ones. All good things are worth the wait.

Hey everyone!

I’ve been silent reader and I thought I would share my news with you and spread positive vibes 😄 On May 10th I received a notification from Uscis app saying my I-485 case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. To my surprise this Saturday, May 25th I got a letter in the mail with interview date. No notifications or anything, app and both websites still say “ready to be scheduled for interview”.

We didn’t expedite and after reading your comments I wasn’t expecting to get the date that fast at all. Good news is that they’re working on our month and I hope for everyone’s fast approvals. My EAD/AP haven’t been updated since biometrics.

Fun fact: I got the interview letter on the same exact day as my approval for K1 visa last year. So weird!

Good luck!

Congratulations
