That's literally our thoughts too! At this point the Green Card can come in another year for all we care, we just need the EAD! And at least the Green Card processing is pretty straight forward, from the beginning we always knew we would wait around a year but the EAD was so deceiving! When we applied in November the average was still 90 days but of course that has changed...191 days and they still haven't touched ours :( It seems like they are moving through later applications quicker so fingers crossed for a speedy approval for you! :)

Thank you for your best wishes!

Wait...you've gone 191 days and they haven't touched your app?  At all?  No bio?  No EAD/AP?  No RFIE (not that I want you to, but at least it means they're doing something with it)?  Nothing at all since November?!?!?!?!??!

So today I made a call to the USCIS and demanded to talk to a T2 person. The T1 who put me through was very nice and friendly. But the T2 person wasn't friendly at all so I couldn't even ask him when to expect a decision on my RFIE.

But The T2 person told me that they received my RFIE response and my case is in the system to be processed. Also there are delays in the system update. But cases with rfie do take some time to get processed.

So I  have to wait. But I will call again after the 30 days that I was told to wait by the T1 person.

Right now I hoping for a miracle to get approved for the ead. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞

My attorney seems not to be bothered about the delay of my case.

Sorry, Pal!  I wished that you could've had more success out of your efforts.  Not that it's "easy" to call these people and try to carry on with civility in your conversation, but to not be at least decent about your call.  Yeesh!  Maybe they ought to look at those working in this to see where the problem might be?!

Prayers for all still hoping and wishing and begging for some kind of progress!

Thank you. But at least I gave it a try.

Any of you guys following other blogs about this stuff?  I don't want to mention any other blogs by name specifically, but you should see what some of the others are going through!  Holy $hizzzzzzers!!

We're talking, 7, 8, 10 months of nothing.  And this is just for the EAD/AP decision.  Some are being fronted with RFEs after MONTHS of waiting.  What a complete shambles this all is.  How those in February, March, April and May are getting progress before any of them, is just not right.  I suspect, they're all filing Expedites, and not admitting to it.  Even those that "claim" they didn't file an Expedite, and just miraculously wound up getting processed, can't seriously think we, the WAITERS, are going to believe it.

Wow....check out some of the other blogs out there, and you'll see what I mean!

Preach it :) LOL

You are very welcome!

Yeppp... Our NOA 1 is November 13 and that was the last time they touched it...I know its just crazy, I feel like we have been so patient because I understand it takes time but the past 2 weeks have been so rough watching all these approvals come through.  I probably shouldn't look at later threads but curiosity gets the better of me. I keep thinking that today will be the day but after 191 days I literally don't believe that anymore. I 1000% think that all these applications are in a box in a huge room and ours is pushed all the way to the back and officers only grab the later application dates in the front and leave the ones in the back haha

Sorry not to be a negative Nancy! Its looking good for January filers at least!

Hello all,

So my wife and kids had their AOS from K1 interview yesterday.  It took about an hour before they called us in. First, I (the petitioner) was asked to go in.  The officer asked many questions, it took about 20 minutes.  I was asked to raise my right hand and swear to tell the truth.  She took notes while asking questions (I guess to compare answers), looked at pictures, took some evidence documents (bank statement, credit card, insurance card, etc).  She then asked me to go outside in the waiting area and then proceeded to call my wife in.  The IO took her picture and fingerprints, asked many questions as the ones she had asked me.  We are both divorced from our prior marriages so we were questioned about that.  After about a half hour, my wife came out and the IO called me in with the kids.  She asked the kids a couple of questions, full names, d.o.b, and if they were happy here, but did not take their pic and fingerprints.  She then asked me a couple more questions and then said she was concluding the interview.  She then proceeded to tell us that we'll be getting a letter with the decision in the mail.  She then explained that a green card would be temporary as our marriage is less than one year old and that we'd have to file to remove conditions in 2yrs time.

  • I find it concerning that she did not take the kids pic and fingerprints.  Is this normal?
  • Should we have been given some sort of paperwork?

Any input is appreciated.  Good luck to all still waiting for the interview.

So I finally found out how to download the Case tracker app again to my iPhone.

I checked #500 in front of mine and #500 behind mine. Many people from the March thread keep saying their interview was scheduled. The truth is there is a very little number of applicants are in this forum and on other forums. I read the other very popular Immigration forum almost every day and a lot of peoples are having a hard time and waiting a lot too.

So here comes the funny part. I'm the March filer and as I said, I checked #500-#500 applications and there are maybe 2% are having their interview already. So my guess is maybe those people who are saying "oh I got my interview appointments" are just trolls. Or most of them are with expediting however, they are denying to say that. Now, this makes me very upset.

1. Not necessarily. depends on age. I would assume it's normal.

2. I doubt it. Check the case status this week, it should update to something.

in general, you were approved and should get your card soon. Don't stress over things that are out of your control :)

We had problem with that at chase as well. We had SSN but they wanted a bill & passport with the same last name (we changed it when we got married).

I had no problem adding my wife as authorized user on CC though. She received the same CC card with same number. Officer scanned it and asked about the statements.

Thank you! That exactly what we did, since, also chase, didn’t allow joint account. My husband add me as a authorized user. So I will take the statements when time comes. Thank you again

I called out the liars a while ago and got chastised for it.  Seems I might not have been that far off.

FoS...is what I say!

And the Empyrean has been very helpful in providing us stats from the USCIS directly.

Good research, Gigi!

Good research, Gigi!

I have a friend and she and her husband live in Miami. They filed a week before us and they had their interview on May 9th.

I asked her if she requested an expedite and she said no. A few days later she told me that because she was here with an F1 visa and after graduation, she got a job with her EAD. She got a really good job and her boss wrote a letter to the USCIS about her EAD and he needs her and they filed this letter with the package. So I told her that "yeah, it seems like you requested an expedite". I think you get my point now and we won't "get chastise for it".

Certainly sounds like it!  Maybe they don’t think so, but if it’s anything other than simply filing, it’s some kind of expedite request...
