Honestly, considering how much you have riding on the line, and unlike K-1 Adjusters who knew they would have no job for months, you have quite a bit to lose, expediting sooner rather than later might be a very good idea for you. Remember, Memorial day weekend is coming up, and I wouldn't be surprised if USCIS will slow down in General in the summer, with children out of school and people starting to take their summer vacations.

Oh gosh... I didn't even think about it... Yeah, you are right... Everything gets slow during the summertime...

This is not going well. It is going to be a disaster. I hope I get approved before they slow down the processing of applications like a tortoise

I wonder why didn't you get any updates since your RFIE. There are many people in the March thread who had RFIE at the beginning and some of them already got the interview appointment.

Sometimes I think about what if the IO-s or someone from the USCIS read the VJ and this is how they 'punish' us because we are complaining too much...

I think we share the same thoughts. I have filed for an inquiry and I have been told to wait until 15 days to 30 days. if I do not receive any response, then I should call back again. so I'm waiting but I plan on calling next week just to inquire about my fingerprints. somehow, I think we those who complain are being punished and the way they are processing the applications is  unfair.

The entire process is beyond dysfunctional.  It is a complete farce!

Aww..... No matter how long it take we will should get our gc. We are all going through frustration but the best thing is that we got each other to go through this.

We shall all overcome this frustration.

I disagree.. It should be the same. I sm also on Esta..but i lived in Canada. i was married nearly 2 yrs ago..i finally filed OAS..and EAD..paid a lawyer.. All legals should be able to be treated equal when it is bonafide marriage.

Yeah, I understand. I really don't wanna think about this whole process a lot. Because it makes me more and more angry when I think about it. I paid a lawyer to see to the whole process for me.  But it seems I have to step in to make a call to inquire about why I have not received any update after 84 days of submitting my RFIE response to USCIS. For me I just hope we all get updates. And I feel sad for myself for getting rfie.

Yep yep!

I’ll say, what disturbs me the most is the illogical order that some applications are adjudicated in, and the institutional disdain for even those who are LEGALLY (meaning, us here) who are trying to survive during this ridiculous process.

Even when I eventually get some answers, I’ll still be extremely frustrated and depleted of what should be a relieving and happy time, because of the amount of anxiety and stress it took to get “there”.

My income far exceeds my sponsoring wife.  Well...that is, while I’m still able to work.  🙄

You have the grounds to expedite for sure. Make sure to put it together well and phrase it right

I appreciate your sentiments and support.  I'm hoping those that work in this ridiculous farce see it that way, too.  My intention is to officially file an Expedite Request by June 1st (May 31st, as June 1st is a Saturday), as recommended by the USCIS Customer Service person we spoke to in April recommended.

I know I've been a nasty contributor (at times) on here, but now that I've spilled the beans about how much is on-the-line and at risk, I hope it gives us an idea why I've been this way.  I recognize and respect that everyone has a position in this, but now I've shared just how critical timing is for ours.

I will definitely advise the group once our Expedite has been filed, and what the results are.  Thanks again!

Everyone has their days.. I'm sometimes annoying too lol.

Just make sure to make a strong and valid point while expediting, show how much is at stakes, show your spendings and income, and it should go well. I believe in you!
