UPDATE: I don't know if it's a system glitch or something, but I got a letter in the mail today notifying me that my AP has been approved too, but on the website, it still says "case received". So I guess one has to be vigilant with both the USCIS website and the USPS postman/woman.

I hope everyone is having an amazing week so far ( I know! I know its only Monday lol)

Same thing happened to us.  Saw a letter from USCIS for approval of the AP but still showed Case Received on the old site. The new site actually did have the updates so you may want to check there to see if there is an update. Some people have also stated that there is no update for AP if you are getting a combo card.

Congratulations!!

Thank you!

For some reason, I never thought to check my case status on the new site AND BOOM! it updated to show both my EAD and AP combo card had been approved as of 05/10. The old site still says " New card is being produced" as of 05/09

My AOS application changed to “ready to be scheduled for interview” yesterday! Haven’t heard anything for EAD/AP yet.

Well..... Great. You have an update now. I think they are beginning to work on January filers.

Congrats. Hope you get scheduled for interview fast.

Thanks! The processing times for my local office is 10-22.5 months so I’m not going to get my hopes up but at least it’s progress so I’m not complaining!

Just be hopeful. All will work out.

I feel sad for myself for getting RFIE. But my attorney should have known best for us to avoid that RFIE which is now causing delay. My local office isn't that slow.

So I hope they work on my case and at least I get ead approval and get scheduled for interview.

Don’t they have a certain amount of time they’re supposed to respond to the RFIE in? Like 30 days or something? Have you put in an inquiry?

Yeah I think the thing people are mostly concerned about is the EAD/AP so we can start living our lives! 😂 it’s so lame not being able to work for this long.

Yes they have certain amount of time to respond to rfie, which is 60 days. I talked to my attorney about it when I hit 74 days after submitting my RFIE response. and he said he wasn't able to put in an inquiry. So I myself called last week and put in an inquiry and I was told to call back after 30 days if I don't get an update.

If anyone has ever used the Tracker app and searched to see statuses of cases (I search about 75 before mine and 25 after mine), there seems to be a ton....I mean...a TON of cases with a Last Update Feb 8, 2019 date.

What’d USCIS do with that box...literally throw’em out or something?!?!?!?!
