Its a new week ya'll ~

I haven't heard anything back for EAD/AP since biometrics in January - Anyone else in the same boat?

Bio's 3/4

Rev Compl 3/5

Crickets since.

I tried that Tracker App, and noticed that there have been a few more "updates" of case numbers getting closer and closer to mine.  Updates as recent as 5/1 and 5/8.  Kind of giving me some hope, IF my case numbers are being processed by the same group.

I also noticed that the updates occur more frequently on Wednesdays.  Only making that observation when you run the search.  This isn't an applicant's response; it's driven by the app that searches for case numbers as they are updated by the USCIS service.  However, it appears the search uses the OLD update site, as my own results in the search mimc the OLD site, and not the new site (yes, my updates are DIFFERENT on both).

Are you referring to the USCIS mobile app?

That makes sense. My updates are different on the new and old sites as well (Old site is updated, but new site still says my cases have been received).

Hope we hear back soon!!

I had the same problem as well. The old and new site don't match. Because the old site says case was received on December 31,2018 but new site says case recieved on January 15th, 2019

But I called USCIS last week and I ask about it and I was told by t1 that the date that they have in their system is that of the old site.

Let us all be hopeful despite the frustration

LOL the my.uscis site doesn't even show me the NOA date just the "We received your case. You don't need to do anything at this time" messages.

I see updates only on the egov site. But no updates there since April 8th. And I don't even have the case tracker app because the iPhone doesn't have it at the app store anymore.

Yeah it's strange/annoying lol! Have you called to check your case statuses via their phone system? I tried a few weeks ago and the system had different updates compared to the websites. I ended up talking to an agent and she said they were behind on updating their online system AND phone system hahaha -_-

Hmmmm...interesting?  I downloaded the app less than 2 weeks ago?

What's the "egov" site?

There are 2 sites where you can check your case status.

1) egov.uscis.gov (old site)

2) myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov (new site)

I haven't called any agent yet. I don't have patience for that LOL

Oooohh....yeah yeah yeah.  I just don't type in the "egov" part, as you have it there.  I just type in either:  www.uscis.gov  or my.uscis.gov.

Btw, I don't know how you guys handle the anxiety but for me, it's a big issue. I'm a March filer but to see people there having their interview already and getting their EAD make it worse. I know they filed expedite for the documents (however they don't tell us the truth) but I know there are people from last November and October who still wait for their EAD and interview and all these just makes me feel anxious.

It is a very frustrating process...with not many options, and even fewer in these positions of power that even care.  I'm just over 90 days before I will be forced to terminate my employment.  I'll lose my house, my car, anything that requires a payment.  I'm not living check-to-check, but it doesn't take long to run out.

I will probably have to go the route of an Expedite request, as well, and I will be straight-forthcoming with this group about when I request it and the results.

For me, it's only 68 days since the NOA1 so I know I should not worry and complain but it would be really good to be able to work.

Yeah I called to log in an inquiry concerning my RFIE and I was told to wait to hear a response in 15 to 30 days. I wish I could check if an io has pick my inquiry to work on it. Today mark 90 days for submitting my RFIE response.

I feel you haha. My anxiety has been through the roof lately, but I'm trying to manage. I'm a January filer, so 5 months is coming up for me and I might have to miss my brothers graduation in June if I don't hear back soon 😔

Sometimes you just have to ignore the fact that this process is delaying and focus your attention on something else. There is even one person from August who is still waiting for her interview to be scheduled or to get ead approval.

133 days for case recieved

120 days since Noa 1

90 days since RFIE response

The reality is "you either keep quiet and suffer until you get approved or you expedite."
