Sometimes, when I see some comments it makes me angry but it is as it is. I am waiting just to hear that my case is ready to be schedule for interview. I only want to hear that so that at least I know that my RFE response has been approved. I am at 119 days today so I hope to hear something this week. I need to start  working to support my husband. He has to undergo an operation very soon. And when that happens he won't be able to work for some few months. 

 

Some people are getting approvals with 60 to 90 days while many people have been waiting over 130 days and more. Some February filers are getting approvals and that makes me angry. 

 

But I have hope that very soon we will be getting approvals.

Last night received a notice on Case Tracker that our EAD has been approved.   This is such a weird process.  Hope everyone still waiting to get their approvals soon

I've been feeling more and more impatient lately and I know many of you are also feeling the same way...but it's a new month and spring is here!

Personally, I've been struggling a lot with the restriction of not working and being able to see my family, but I'm trying to be more grateful for my current situation and remind myself of how far we've come since applying for K1! 

 

Try to limit the time you spend researching/calculating/analyzing other's case timelines and worrying about the "What if's", and enjoy the free time you have right now doing the things you love! It'll be our turn soon 🤞

Just received  notices (by email) that my wife's EAD and Advanced Parole were approved on 05/01/19. 

 

Logged into my account on the USCIS (new site) and both status's changed to "Case was approved".

 

On the USCIS single tracking site the EAD shows "New card is being produced" and AP still shows "Case  was received".

 

107 days to approval. Well within the VJ timeline predictions. In fact, the prediction was showing between May 1st to May 19th  so we were on the early end of that range. 

 

A sigh of relief given that our K1 process took way longer than normal. 

 

No expedite or any other sort of magic happened behind the scenes. We just simply submitted and patiently waited.

Hi Everyone just to update: on may 1st ead card was mailed out and got the tracking number. USPS says it should be here by May 4th however on informed delivery there's something in today's mail from USCIS sooo maybe its the EAD/AP card.
