I do like your optimism...coming from this ALWAYS half-empty-glass kind of guy (me).  LOL....

Oh, nowhere near yours.  I feel awful for you, just the same!

Mailed: 1/25/19

Recd: 1/28/19

NOA1s:  2/12/19 (was my first clue this was going to be a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong wait!)

Bio's: 3/4/19

Bio Rev Completed:  3/5/19

Crickets chirping away since then..........................well, except for the annoying Spam emails I get of the nothing-new updates.

Hmm..... My situation changed when I received RFIE from them. So I have to respond to it as fast as I can. And they received my response on 2/12/19. But I am just being hopeful to get "ready to be schedule for interview or EAD approval".

For me I am just certain that they will work on our cases soon.

I understand how you feel about that. I felt the same way because I don't even know if my fingerprint review is completed or not. But I got an update when I responded to my RFIE . And from what I have read in other filers page, Sometimes they rarely update some of the cases. But I believe all is fine.

I did not get a RFE

I haven't, either.

I'm not going to jinx myself at this point...but was hoping that if I was to get one, I would've already received one.  At least, I hope we haven't missed anything, anywhere...?

I know guys that you didn't get RFE. But with uscis they are unpredictable. Untill you are approved for ead or gc you don't know what will happen. I hope things sail through successfully. Because there is this lady in November group who got RFE after 160 days.

Anything can happen.

Let us all hope for the best that we get approved and you guys won't get RFE

Where on earth does VJ get these numbers from?

Even someone as dumb as a rock as I am, knows this fits NOWHERE in the USCIS posted processing times...

Your EAD Approval Estimate:

June 26th, 2019

Your AP Approval Estimate:

June 9th, 2019

Now THAT'S some funny #$%$# right there!

I decided to second-guess my contractual Attorney, and contacted another Attorney for a second opinion.  This other Attorney works in a completely different State.

He AFFIRMED the sentiments of the first Attorney (without knowing them first), that:

1)  The posted time-frames from USCIS are what we should refer to when it comes to awaiting decisions and updates on our cases.

2)  It is extremely....EXTREMELY rare that "Expedite" requests are honored (which are usually only granted in cases of EXTREME medical situations).

3)  Take it with a miniscule grain-of-salt when we hear of the dramatic cases of rapid processing.  Furthermore, use your own intuition when it comes to what you hear and read on the Boards.

Either both of these Attorneys drank from the same pitcher of Cool-Aid, or they are speaking with factual knowledge of how this all goes.

A new week.  New incredible stories will be shared on here.

From the USCIS website:

I-765's - at the NBC - 5-7 months, with a current PD of: September 25th, 2018.  (Almost EVERY other Service Center is as fast as 1.5 months to 3 months, generally, as a minimum).  Guess if you didn't get anything other than the NBC, then expect 5-7 months.

Here's the biggest laugh ever!!!!!!:

I-485's through the TSC (where I'll probably wind-up after the I-765 is finally completed):  14-38 months!!  Bwahahahaha!!!  A year to 3 years!!!  Hahahahahaha!! And you got people on here claiming they're getting theirs in a "few" months.  Yeah...ok....  Bwahahaha!!  Only the Nebraska SC is under 11 months...as a minimum.

Here's my commentary:

#1 is the official answer you're going to get from anyone in an official capacity. Don't expect any other answer. Also note how processing times are calculated (note the description of the "range": https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/more-info

#2 is a fair statement; the reasons for expedite are very limited: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria

That being said... you can look at my timeline (on behalf of my wife). I did NOT expedite (I didn't have a valid reason to do so) and my timeline shows the exact dates when each event occurred.

For I-485, NBC processing is limited to initial data entry and biometrics. Your petition is then sent to the local office for interview scheduling. You need to look at the processing time for your local field office; the service centers generally process non-family and non-employment based I-485 petitions. If you're interested in what the service centers process (as opposed to the local field offices and NBC): https://www.uscis.gov/i-485-addresses

Ok, fair enough.  I appreciate your further insight.

So, the very second I get my hands on my EAD (if, I ever do....), we're relocating to Florida (from Texas).  What do you suppose that will do to my case?  Restart the wait, which at my "local office" for I-485's, the current wait time is apparently "only" 13 months to 25 months....vs....the local Texas office.

91 days would be a god-send for me to get my EAD.  Truthfully, the GC can come whenever it does; we just need to get out of Texas and over to Florida ASAP, for all our sanities.  Haha!

Again, appreciate your feedback...

You contradict yourself.. One day you say everyone is out of their minds and you can't trust anyone who claims their interview has been scheduled, or EAD/AP approved. Now you're saying you believe everything you see.. Stop trying to justify. It just seems like you're looking for an answer that you want, not what the reality is.

How VJ estimates the approvals? Takes into consideration ALL recent EAD/AP approval and finds an average time frame that it might take for yours to get approved.

Chill out and wait it out. Everyone is upset and tired of processing times, but there is nothing we can do about it. There is always a way if you can't wait. Go back to Your home country and refile CR-1, plain and simple.
