You want false hopes and unreasonable expectations?  Ok...fair enough.

Or, do you want to hear from folks who've been WAITING and WAITING and WAITING and ...well, you get the point.

So, do you want reality, or do you want fairytales, just to feel good?  And when YOUR process doesn't happen in the fairytale World, what say you then?

He wants people to give their experiences regardless of whether they think its realistic or not.

There are thousands upon thousands of applications being submitted so it doesn't surprise me to hear that there are a few cases that are completed faster than the norm. Does it suck to hear that? Heck yeah! But that doesn't automatically qualify them to be unbelievable or that there are some non disclosed circumstances that the applicants are lying about. I honestly don't think those people have anything to gain in making stuff up. Maybe they are individuals that just love to mess with our minds but I don't see that pattern.

I submitted in January, AP says "case has been received" as of 1/17, EAD says "Fingerprint review was completed" as of 2/13, and Adjustment of Status says "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview" as of 3/27.  No updates on any of them since.....

and I don't expect to see any for a long time.

I'm more pessimistic than optimistic so my expectations are on par with information that I see on this forum and there are by far more people waiting than there are those one off cases that are resolved super quick.

No need to chastise or gang up on someone who may be more optimistic than pessimistic.

Each of us has a right to interpret what we learn from here in our own way.

Just to clarify, no one is "ganging up" or "chastising" anyone...we're just being realistic and being upfront with our experiences.  But to ask us to squelch our realities isn't very helpful, either.  The fact is, as you also recognize, "far more people waiting" is the norm, and no one should stress themselves out over not hearing anything for months, just because of the "one off" cases that may...or may not....be legit.

What I express, and how I express it, is never intended to emulate some kind of keyboard warrior.  I'm just expressing my a) opinion, or b) fact.  And, unfortunately, both may not fray from what is also, REALITY.

:)

Here's hoping ALL OF US get to the net result as fast as possible!  :)

Oh, I'm very aware...hence why I chose to even clarify how I've written it.  Unfortunately, reality is hard to accept for a lot of people.  Kind of like, when you consult with an attorney, and the attorney knows...to say what you "want" to hear; not what you "should" hear.  That's what most sales people do.  Say what you "want" to hear, not what you "should" hear.

It's all good.  Just don't be disappointed when you don't get the results you're now setting your expectations on because of what you're "wanting" to hear.

Wishing you the best as you join those who are also waiting to hear the news we so eagerly are waiting for....

realistic, optimistic..
Doesn't change anything.
Cases aren't processed in order obviously.

There are tens of thousands of EAD applications. I'd assume a lot more than K1's i-129f. I'm not surprised that there are some people approved  earlier or before processing times. Same way that there are people who are processed way over and after processing times. That doesn't mean people fake it.

EAD's are different in volume compared to any other applications. There are a lot more officers working on them, and there are higher chances of some number of people get early approvals.

Does that make me feel upset? Somewhat.

Is it unfair? Yes.

Can we do anything about it? No.

Does it makes sense within USCIS ? Nothing makes sense with USCIS.

everyone chillax and stop arguing.
Thanks for attention. lol

Unreasonable expectations?
People set their own expectations. Mine are and were VJ's estimate. If that fails, then USCIS projections will kick in. Doesn't mean that i won't hope for earlier approval though.

If you set your expectations within the set of the 60-90 day approved people, chances are, you will be disappointed. I'm not upset about not being the "special" one. I wish i was that special, though i'm not. All we can do is send in the apps and wait.

Current reality is 150days. If you get upset that there are people who get approved early, and start calling them liars.. I don't think that's how this forum works.

Well I have come across few people whose VJ timeline predictions worked for them. So VJ predictions, my 👀 set on you. My timeline keeps on decreasing every day.

I've read somewhere, that people's minds make themselves feel special and ignore other people's reality lol

hard to explain but in a nutshell brain makes you feel special and singled out more often than not. Once you start thinking that every single living person around has their own everyday lives, it blew my mind lol.

Got off track a bit.
VJ's predictions worked for me for K-1, I think we got approved a day after the predicted timespan.
