As you say I did but problem is my I-485 old website show up ready to schedule a interview and new website show up  case was received

Does your EAD receipt show up on the new site? Not sure why your AOS shows different statuses on the two different sites.

Mine AOS shows the same status on both site as case is ready to schedule for interview.  However the old site shows EAD and AP as Case is received but on the new site the AP read Card is Produced but EAD says case received. I have no idea what is going on with mine but I guess we will see in the next few days.

Alrighty then!  LOL....

Just another day.  Well, it is FriYAY!

Another day of doubting half the posters from Feb and March who are claiming they're getting EAD/APs and even Interviews already...while folks from as far back as September, October and late 2018 are still waiting for updates.  The authenticity level is waning, very, very quickly.....

As a new stalker to the AOS forums (wedding scheduled for June), I was wondering this. There's been a few saying around 70 days for EAD?!

EAD is the only one that is of interest to me, I will be applying for AP also, but even the GC doesn't bother me initially, so I'm now religiously keeping a check on it. It appears a good few January filers stating they're approved also though, does this seem a little early also?

As in my case, the EAD is truly what I need as well, although I'm currently here on a valid TN and ok...for now.

The word from USCIS is that EADs are going to take an "average" of 5-7 months.  That's what they are posting.

Folks here who are "claiming" not only EADs in <60 days, but also GC INTERVIEWS in the same time, are...I don't know...it just doesn't add up and doesn't make sense.

Understandably, there are options for Expediting, and I suspect that is how their processes are moving ahead at a much-more expedient process.

Do NOT get upset when you hear the "claimers" announce their progress that completely defies the logical and expected time-frames.  Worry about your own, REAL LIFE situation, and realize that there are posted estimated time-frames from USCIS that you're just going to have to anticipate and prepare for.  Much like I am doing now.

I was mildly "optimistic" when my Bio's were scheduled and completed within just 30 days of my NOA1s, but any kind of optimism I had has clearly gone out the door, and I'm just hoping I can get my EAD approved and received by the start of the summer.  Like you, the actual GC is of little extreme urgency at this point.........

A REALIST, here to share in our mutual anxiety and anticipation!  We'll all get there, eventually!

USCIS has posted expected time-frames for a reason.  Believe in them, and give the HUGE irregularities no more of a thought than what you had for breakfast this morning.

IF, and that's a HUGE "IF", any of those irregularities are posting with genuine progress, it is VERY likely they have filed Expedited.  You can clearly read from even September and October threads, where there are those from that time-frame who are STILL awaiting some kind of progress, as well.  You really think USCIS is going to "skip" ahead and just start handling January, February and even MARCH filers AHEAD of all those who are stressed-to-the-MAX from September??!!!!???!!!

Regardless, I'll focus on my own process and how it moves (verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwly) towards at the least...an approved EAD.

Good luck to all of us!

I do agree with you. But if cases are not expedited, some can get gc within 4 to 6 months. This I was told by my attorney. But all the same I am just waiting to hear from NBC that your RFIE response has been approved. I know waiting is frustrating but at least I am enjoying a life I have always dream of since my adolescent stage. Slowly they will touch our case.

While my Attorney tells me everything is in order, and so did the USCIS Customer Support Center when I last called them about 2 weeks ago, I have yet to receive a...(going to leave that nasty term out so I don't even jinx myself!!)  :)  I hope you hear good things from the results of your ...(you know...THAT term), and all our cases will move at a reasonable and expected pace.

Yep, true that...Life is Good!

I really like your realism!

I can't fully describe that horrible feeling of seeing people receiving approvals past your month filing date. It's a nasty feeling in your heart for sure. I am a November filer and I remember them feelings to well in terms of my heart sinking, panicking and stressing myself out to the max when I seen following months getting approved; thinking and questioning  "what's the logic to this?" - like how is this fair/justifiable?

I always stand by true to the fact some people get very lucky in being approved in such a short space of time but then I feel there's others who do expedite and don't disclose it. Not disclosing expedites can sometimes send mixed signals to people 'waiting'. It can cause their hopes to be increased yet not realizing the reality of why they got approved so quickly. I understood the logic of the K1 and for EAD/AP I have no clue. My heart wrenches for September filers still waiting. I got approved Day 139 (yesterday) and I felt I was going to have a nervous breakdown this week...

Good luck to you and everyone waiting! ❤️

Haha...my realism reallllllly irks some (NOT saying you...just some who can't stand reality!).  :)

Sure...the VERY rare instance of the "very lucky", is about as common as winning $50 on a scratch ticket.  It "can" happen, no doubt.  But it's rare, and NOTHING to the frequency of claimers on these threads.  LOL!  Mixed signals, and false hopes, so true!  I'd say 139 days (about 4.6 months) is very possible, and reasonable.  I'm good with that.  The 'ol saying, "under-promise, over-deliver".  5-7 months is the "average".  So, being just under that is a case of you having everything where it needed to be; probably a rather straight-forward case; and one that wouldn't be needing of any further scrutiny than what was plainly obvious.  I get it.  Hopefully, I'll be right in that range, as I expect anywhere from 5-7 months on my simplistic case, as well (I mean, I'm Canadian-born, multiple degrees, already here on a TN, working in a sector that requires EXTENSIVE, ANNUAL background checks, and have never been denied or black-listed, or had any major cross-border issues, either.)  So, it should be pretty straight-forward, as well, no?  LOL....

Congrats on your (presumably, EAD/AP) approval.

This is the way we've done this whole process. Always worked everything out on a expected timescale, always working towards the back end of this. From filing up to the POE and to be fair, we're pretty on schedule even if our NOA2 and everything else came in pretty early in comparrison.

Always just work it out and focus on our next step :)

Good luck and I'm sure at some point you'll see my name pop up with some stupid questions in the coming months
