January 2019 - AOS Filers (merged)

So...I followed your lead and double-checked mine on both.

 

Of all 4 applied for, only the I-485 app shows the same date from the "old" site to the "new" site. 

The NEW site shows 2/12/2019 received for all 4; only the OLD site shows the I-485 as 2/12/19, while the other 3 apps actually show 2/8/10  - 4 days earlier.

 

Go figure.  ?!?!  I'm loitering here (January filers) as well as February filers, because they received my apps on 1/28, but for some very strange reason, took until 2/12/19 to notify me of my NOA1s.

 

With so many more-recent applicants reporting further progress in their applications than ours, this either means we're just lagging slightly compared to them, or ours are being handled differently for an as-yet unknown reason.  I am NOT under a K1-Perm AoS.  I am already here (have been, legally, for several years under TN-status), so I'm wondering if that ALSO has something to do with handling differently.

 

As usual, more questions than answers...

Guys.. Stop overthinking..
There was somewhere on VJ explained the reason between differences, and it came out that the old one is more accurate out of two for NOA1 dates.

Well..... I search for my NOA1 and realized my receipt date January 15. But for some reasons it is sad that some people are getting their documents processed fast. My attorney tried e-request and they say I am within the normal processing time.

I hear ya!  I just don't get any of this...and how some are fast-tracked, while others are made to wait.  I just don't get it..............UGH....

Hi Everyone! So just to update, we never received our bio appointment letter and we called 3 times until the 4th time where we spoke with a tier 2. The appointment was for 2/12! obviously we missed it. they apologized and let us reschedule the appointment for April 24th. Today we got the notification that his EAD/AP was approved so at least thats good news! Does anyone know how long it takes approximately from approval to card in hand? Best wishes to everyone!!!

Which is your local office? Newark or New York?
