Okay that makes me feel a little better then! Was worried they missed it or something, but sounds like you’ve got a similar thing.

You could try the automated system. That matches what is on the old site for me. The new site has everything as case received and nothing else 🙄

I tried the automated phone system last night, and it matches the NEW system.  Hahaha!!  I get a VERRRRRRRRY good impression that nothing is consistent with the updating process...haha!

Yeah definitely. It seems there is no process with USCIS. They just do what they want, when they want and maybe approve some apps along the way 😂

Hi guys, we have completed the interview today. Praise God! The officer said they will approve our case by today and i will receive my green card in about 10 days. He said the trend as of now (at least in Spokane Wa) is that gc is most likely approved before the ead/ap. He said i might still receive the ead/ap but it will be obselete anyways. Also he said once i have the gc, i can go to ssa to apply for ssn (since i dont have one yet) and not wait for the ead application to be approved.

I think I am in a low immigrant area which is why mine was quick. For others who are still waiting, just hang on tight.

Congratulations! How was the interview? Did the officer ask for tons of proof or just the obvious things?
Lucky you.. I'm in a "immigrant sanctuary state" of New Jersey. We might get our interview scheduled between 2019 Nov, or 2035 January. Somewhere in between these dates lol

Took a deep breath.....and made the call.  Here goes!

So...I will say, for the second time calling the Customer Service Center, the person taking my call was extremely pleasant, informative, and genuinely expressed an interest in my questions.

That being said, my case is processing "normally", and there appears to be nothing that should cause any of the normal processes to be delayed.  We went over 3 (of the 4 cases - the 4th can only be discussed with the Petitioner), and it should be noted, that "not all updates are posted to each case" that are available by calling the Customer Service Center.  For instance, although the online status shows Biometrics received/completed for the I485, they are ALSO received/completed for the I765 - something that is NOT posted on the I765 section.  So...that is kind of important to know, because it tells you that some actions are actually taking place, but not necessarily everything gets posted to each application being processed.

My I765 is at the NBC, and the processing time for it is currently 4.5-6.5 months.  We are 2 months in to that time-frame as of today.

We discussed an expedite request (based on our circumstances), and there is risk to that, because:  once you submit an Expedite request, it can take up-to 30 days for the handling center to pull the app, and another 15 days or so to get a response.  Once it's pulled, sure, it gets processed sooner, but if the expedite request is denied, the app gets reinserted back with the others, and the processing continues again - but you've now extended your overall processing time.  It was agreed that my expedite reason carries merit and probably is justified, but there is no guarantee (over the phone) that it will be accepted, so it may just be more sensible to just leave it processing where it's at.

I guess I really need to try and put this on the back-burner for about the next 2 months, and stop fretting over not hearing anything.  Sure, some are getting incredibly fast processing, but it is what it is.  Frustrating?  Sure!  Anxiety-enhanced?  You betcha!  But...maybe I'm sending negative aura in to the process by being so whiny about it.  I'm going to try and contain myself for a little while, and just sit back and let the chips fall where they may.  Maybe this is somehow reassuring to others in this same situation....??

The interview went smooth, the officer was very nice. My photo and index fingerprints were taken. We were asked to stand up, raised our right hands and swear under oath that all our answers will be true. At first he asked about the details we put in the i-485 forms and the “have you ever been”

then he asked these questions:

How did you meet?

When and where did you meet?

When did you decide to get married?

How did the proposal go?

What does your parents think about the match?

When and where did the wedding take place?

Who attended the wedding?

What did you do after the wedding?

What do you do together?

What are your future plans together?

Congratulations!  I think we saw you as you guys were leaving.  Our interview was 8:50 AM.  We were approved as well!  Glory to God!  Our AOS timeline is almost exactly like yours.  We applied at the end of December and were extremely surprised by how quickly we were scheduled for our interview.  Likely some of the quickness is due to being in Spokane.  Much different from our K-1 experience when it took us 5 months to get our case number.  For those still waiting, just hang in there.  Sometimes things are easy and sometimes they are a little rougher.

Yes, that was me. 🙂 Our interview was a lot like yours. It was not too hard and the officer was nice.  He seemed to ask you guys more questions than he asked us.  But overall he made us feel relaxed.

Hi, I just got status update email and when I checked, this was the status. I applied in January 2019 also. I came as fiancee of USC and married him and applied for greencard. Does this status mean our interview will be scheduled soon or will be it another 6 months to a year? My location is Seattle. Thanks!
