I did my biometrics today and have a question. Did you fill out any forms? I've seen a lot of people are saying you have to fill out some sort of form with biographical information?
I was only given my biometrics letter back.

Yeah i filled out a form called “Applicant Information Worksheet (AIW)” when i did my biometrics. The lady gave it back to me (original form i filled) together with the  biometrcis notice with stamp. I think you should be fine, she did not write anything on the AIW. She must have just captured the information from the form.

Mine is also the same, no case number for AP. Not sure why..

Only AOS and EAD require biometrics, so I believe that's why only those two respective case numbers show up on the biometrics notice.

GEEEEEEEEEEZUS Murphy!!!

My attorney (who filed the entire AOS package for us), just sent me an email...a "Friendly Reminder" if you will, about my ASC/Bio appointment for next week.... NEXT WEEK!

I'm like.....#######?!?!  WHAT appointment?!?!  I haven't received anything, and had NO CLUE it was for NEXT week!  So...they sent me the I-797C, and it was dated just ** 2 DAYS ** after the NOA1s were received.

I swear, I think some extraterrestrial force is purposely causing me to whine and endure the Waiting Gods for no apparent validity!  😂🤣😅

Oh, and I HAVE an online account at USCIS set for ANY and ALL updates to be emailed and texted...and none of them show any kind of update...including this Bio appointment.

OMG technology...how I despise you!!  HAHAHA!

So your attorney never told you about the bio letter? Ask him if he wants to keep his job and to give you a discount. Jeez he's making your life difficult. Jeez...

They "claim" they just received it yesterday.

I haven't received anything, myself...so, who knows?!?!?!!?

But at least I have the appointment, and I have the form.  And for now, once-again, my whining and stress can be furloughed....  ^_^

letters are usually stamped (date), and people are given at least 2 weeks notice for the bio.. They 100% forgot it.

Well...at least I didn't miss it...and I'll be able to get to it no problem!

You're right...I should demand a refund or whatever, but at this point...I just gotta keep moving forward.  Thank goodness!

^5's!

I had my biometrics appt 2 weeks ago but nothing has changed for me on my online account. They all still say “we have received your case”. I’ve heard of people saying they got a status update along the lines of “fingerprints received”. Does this happen for everyone or is it sort of hit and miss whether it’s updated to that or not?

Well..... My status has been the same and I had an RFE which I responded as early as I could. USCIS received it on February 12 and since then nothing again. I had my biometrics on February 5.Let us wait. Wishing us luck anyway.

You can call USCIS and ask them if they've received your biometrics to be absolutely sure. Sometimes they don't update external statuses but on the phone they'll tell you the latest update.

We are in the same case as you. Had the biometric appointment 2 weeks ago and still nothing except for the same status of Fingerprint fee was received.  I guess it is a miss and hit for some people where they get updated right away and some case takes a little longer.

Did you try calling USCIS to see if they've received and processed your biometrics?

The status should be "Fingerprint review was completed"

Hi ~ NOA1 for AOS/AP/EAD is January 10 and I had my biometrics January 29, but my USCIS account still says "We received your case"...

Should I be worried 😧

You just have to wait to hear from USCIS. It shall be well. Let stay strong during this waiting time.
