Hey guys!!!

i just notice that my biometric appointment says on the bottom the case number of EAD AND AOS, but it doesn’t say anything about AP. How Did you notice come???

Wouldn't know...

Once-again, almost 2 weeks after receiving NOA1, I have YET to receive a Bio appointment notice.

It's extremely frustrating, especially when others post incredibly (almost, unbelievable) short days between stages.  it just doesn't sit well for those that wait and wait and wait and wait.  I mean, for ours, it took them from January 28th, 2019 when delivery was confirmed, to February 13th, 2019 just to issue the NOA1!  Like...WTH?!

Be interested in hearing when you get yours.  I'm (once-again) whining about a 2 week wait, while you're on to a 5 week wait?!?!  WTH?!?!

That's USCIS in a nutshell. No idea why it takes so long.

It’s the arbitrary selection of cases to move right along, while others are dragged.  Makes no sense.

i was wondering if since I had an attorney file my if that was what would be dragging mine out.

It might, but i'd say it shouldn't. You're adjusting from K-1 so it's pretty straight forward. Maybe You local office is overwhelmed and they just have no spots to schedule bio appointments.. Only explanation that i can think of.

Actually, to clarify, I’m going from TN to GC via marriage from within the US where I’m currently employed.

Seeing how I’m in a southern state, that might be a reason...one that I didn’t even consider.  Hmmm...  dang it!

And where I work, I’ve been finger-printed, FBI background checked and more...  😉

You should create an online profile on their website.  That way, you get notifications in emails and texts, even if you don’t get anything by mail.  I’ve set up all 4 filings with notifications on their site.  Even more reason to know we ain’t moving forward at all at this point....

Next week, I call....

I did my biometrics today and have a question. Did you fill out any forms? I've seen a lot of people are saying you have to fill out some sort of form with biographical information?
I was only given my biometrics letter back.

Yes you fill a form with your biographical information and the officer who will capture your fingerprints will use that information and enter it into the database. After that he or she will give that form back to you. That's how my appointment went. So I have that biographical form with me.

But if you were able to do the fingerprints and your picture was taken, then I don't think you should worry about anything else than they processing your case.
